I just went and got the OEM rack for a 22 Rav4 because of this video. Mine were $221 out the door but a lot cheaper then the Thule ones i was looking at. Thanks.
As dumb as this sounds, when I was a Toyota tech for a little bit I would always enjoy getting these simple accessories to install. I was still hourly since I was just learning but roof racks and side steps were always fun to install. So easy and makes a big visual difference.

Thanks for the info! I'm picking up my 2023 next week and am getting these installed at the dealer for $299, which I feel is a pretty good price! Do you find opening the sunroof becomes more noisy with them on? Or does your gas milege drop?
But may these roof racks be moved up and down the side rail so I can fit my soft roof pack? Dealership says that they only have one place to be anchored. That's crazy!!!

I am about as mechanically inclined as a chimpanzee and I installed my OEM roof racks in 20 minutes unbelievably so easy to do.

Hi Gresh. Yes, confirming these are anchored in a single location. It has never been a problem for me but, wanted to confirm.
You can tie in north-south rails to your existing so you have a square platform... Just a thought.
Hi, What's the 2021 / 2022 RAV4 XLE roof rail capacity? Will it fit and carry 4 person roof tent?
It will as long as it's not an older one, the newer tents are considerably lighter. 165lbs is the capacity.
