I’m not the biggest fan of googan stuff, but the ghost gill banger is one of the lures I love. It’s such a sick lure for River smallies. My only issue with them is the lips break off easily. I’ll check out the wake bait for sure.
I use a Strike King wake bait and catch some extremely decent fish on 'em. It's so good that my dad has one comjn' in tomorrow because he saw me catchin' so many.😂

Not a huge fan of the hooks that come on the Google hard baits, I usually swap them out for Berkeley fusions, but I rarely buy hard baits, soft plastics I'm team googan, not a fan of the hard baits. The hound is the walking bait I never throw, all the bills broke off my squarebills after a few cast and running around structure.
Same. Every billed hard bait they make I've had nothing but broken bills just casting it. Scout, Jr Scout, Flat Banger, Mini Banger, all of em. Anything else really ain't terrible.

Throw the treble hook top water baits with a reaction or twitch rod. I find the go-to to be a bit stiff for these and keeping fish on is harder.
