I found this by watching videos on the meteor hammer. I was wondering why they only swing the ball and they don't really shoot it in a straight shot? It seems like it is really easy to get wrapped up like that. Can they use a rope instead or does it have to be a chain?

this game seems like the closest thing to a battlefield simulation that exist, but it seems impossible to referee and it would be so prone to cheating, like not admitting you got hit. Looks too hectic. i think it needs to be refined more into something thats easier to spectate and judge.
ahhh. this is Jugger! you play 5 versus 5 in mixed teams. 4 players of each team are armed. the unarmed player is the only one allowed to carry the ball and score. the boffer weapon give everyone they hit a time penalty. that's the short version :)
@@JuggerMasterclass I need more details... Do they all have to be armed differently or can they all be the same? What do the hits really mean during the course of the round? What happens if the person carrying the ball gets hit?

that happened in a lot of places, but just in Germany it really got off initially. where were you back then?
