Over the years I have listened a lot to the album "Townes Van Zandt" that features this song but I was so addicted to "Waitin' Around to Die" that I didn't give the other songs enough attention. But on a roadtrip recently this song hit me hard and now I love it endlessly along with "(Quicksilver Daydreams of) Maria". Two of the most beautiful, touching love songs ever written. They put me in a very emotional state. I wish I could have seen Townes perform this, it would've moved me to tears for sure. Glad I can watch this video at least ❤

It’s a no brainer to sacrifice wanderlust for a relationship with my son. SOO, we gotta get trips in every once in a while though, to feed that part of us, we can have both, just not the same as the past; which is something we can never have anyway.
