Hi Bernadette ... how did you slow stitch this wth no backing?

Hi @ginaashby6782. When I layered my fabrics I make sure I have at least 1/4 inches overlap at each seam. I then based it to keep it together while I sew my boro/sashiko running stitches. Another was of doing this and saves a me a lot of time is I sew my patches together. Like crazy quilting. I then start my process of boro/sashiko and slow stitching. I hope this is helpful.
