    I make Boro pieces too, but I cheat a put a dab of glue stick under each piece of scrap so they don't move around when I'm stitching. It really works. Cheers from sunny FL :)

      I wouldn't call it cheating @robinaanstey3734 :). Thanks for watching. Hugs Bernadette

      Hi JennferClarkTinker, It drives me crazy that's how I decided to start the rice stitches in my project to the leftover I can just discard and not have see them on my pin cushion. Happy slow stitching.

      @@MamaaaPerdue, you need a Clover dome threaded needle case. It holds 10 threaded needles and keeps the threads from getting tangled. 💖🌞🌵😷

    I keep pincushion threaded needles in a Clover needle dome needle minder. It holds 10 threaded needles without tangling! I have 5 domes now! I need different needles for different threads and projects, so I buy them when I find them on sale. You will love them. There are You tube videos for Clover needle dome so you can see how it works. I love them.

    I HAVE come up with my own version of organizing my threaded needles…and made THREADED NÉEDLE BOOKS…MADE PAGES WITH SEE THROUGH POCKETS…EACH POCKET HOLDING A FLAT SPOOL TO WIND THE THREADED NEEDE AROUND…THEN JUST PLACT IN A POCKET…HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL

    Yes, I use a few pin cushions but I don't leave thread on the needles.

    I keep the leftover threaded needles for a quick little basting

    • @MamaaaPerdue

      Good idea @laurielumbra7320. Now I find it easier to just add rice stitches on my current projects then I'll never have to rethread them again. Thanks for watching. Hugs Bernadette

    I put knots in mine, I get caught up in the loops, and I really can’t see the point of having loops, if you stretch and smooth as you go.

      I know what you mean. to knot or not to knot is an individual choice. Sometimes it also depends on the type of projects. Thanks for watching. Hugs Bernadette

    Is this pouch 15x11 inches or cm ? Luv your videos ❤

    • @MamaaaPerdue
      @MamaaaPerdue  Год назад +1

      Hi @ginaashby6782 yes my starting measurements is 15 x 11inches. You don't have to start with these measurements. It's totally up to you how big is the project you are making. These measurements give me enough wiggle room and seam allowance of 1/4 inches. With the finished wallet of approximately 7 x 4 inches. Love your comments. Thanks for watching. Hugs Bernadette

    Hello what happened to the white backing fabric in the beginning? 😮

    • @MamaaaPerdue
      @MamaaaPerdue  Год назад +3

      I think you were referring with the batting. I was only using it as the measurement for my fabric layout. I brought it back I believed on the final video where we finish the wallet.
