I love this band. They didn't write a duff tune. Proper drunk sing at the top of your voice tunes. God bless you all boys. Maybe you are obscure, but I love you all to bits
the eternally unlucky band....some of the best music of the early 90's, if they'd broke just a few years later when britpop was sweaping the nation it may well have been a very different story....still one of my all time fav scottish bands...playing one of my all time fav songs.
I bought this album on tape back in 2000 just taking a chance as i liked the name. Still play it occasionally and when I do I often wonder why they weren't huge. This is one of the best songs I've ever heard.
They probably wouldn't know about that, but they had this brazilian fan who listened to this in a cassette tape until it mangled and literally vanished. In fact, I listened to all the "I've Seen Everything" album, but since this one was the first track, it was mandatory to go through it. Beautiful, perfect song!
Im lucky that unlike the 90s kids who were listening to this repeatedly- I dont have to stop my cassette and wait 8 seconds for it to rewind! I have an instant replay button now😂😎👇
This is one of my favorite songs of the 90's, they're putting out an album sometime early in '09...they released a single from that album last month on Napster called 'Oranges and Apples', sounds great!
Came here because of a comment someone made about this band on a "Housemartins" video. Good band, good tune. If you don't know the Housemartins, check out the songs "Happy Hour" and "We're not Deep". Lots of other great songs too.
I live in Colorado and I can tell you that your uncle is a cool dude. I've seen them many times and twice we have sat either before the show or after the show tipping one back. Great experience
Shame this song's too short, it takes over 2 minutes to get to the wonderfully catchy chorus. Then instead of another verse and bringing back the chorus again, it just fades out. Still great though so I always play it twice.
I agree GiacoC I would have never known of this song if it hadnt been for an alternative radio station that i listened to alot played it along with some other songs I discovered...sadly the station went top 40 in 1995 and I was sick to my stomach
Used to go see this band in their very early days from when they released their first single. Every tune a banger and it beats me why they weren’t massive. Good time
This is one of the greatest pop songs ever written....deserves a better video. Even so, TCS are my favorite band and I'm opening for them in a few weeks in DC. Highlight of my career?....pretty damn close if it isn't!
Treading Lemming congratulations man. How'd you land that gig? I saw them in Chicago not too long ago, tried to get on the bill but they actually had no opening act! I love this band, my mom introduced me to them when I was 7 or 8 years old. What's your band/project called? If you're opening for these guys im sure I would like it
Excelente canção e excelente banda. "I've Seen Everything" tá no meu top 5 e é umas das grandes pérolas da década de 90. Esse grupo ao menos merecia um pouco de reconhecimento
Perhaps being obscure helps make them what they are - a brilliant band. look at other bands who were great, got famous then turned shit... I'm a little selfish and like to think only true connoisseurs of great music listen to bands like this.
@nymetsrock Check out Andy Latimer's guitar playing with Camel. Try their song " Snow Goose Excerpts" or " Hymn to Her ". Camel and Andy were fantastic and underrated. They're an amazing surprise. Louise
Damn, this tune is the M.F. BOMB! Reminds me of my youth, balloons and unicorns! Why does music after the mid 90's suck so much? I guess I am just turning into an old fogie.
if the lead singer wore skinny jeans and or talked about bitches and money then this band would of been more famous good thing they didn't their obscurity makes them all the better TCS so sweet sounding
I love this band. They didn't write a duff tune. Proper drunk sing at the top of your voice tunes. God bless you all boys. Maybe you are obscure, but I love you all to bits

Criminally underrated band

Yeah, the name intrigued me into buying their first album.
This band is so great they have a melancholy and distinct sound hard to duplicate.
favorite songs are Hayfever, Obscurity Knocks, Ive seen everything,
one of my most favorite songs ever, so beautiful and takes me back to high school.
They probably wouldn't know about that, but they had this brazilian fan who listened to this in a cassette tape until it mangled and literally vanished.

Beautiful, perfect song!
come to brazil
How you been these past 6yrs bro!👍😎
I love these guys. One of my favorite bands.
Always loved that thumping piano intro.
Im lucky that unlike the 90s kids who were listening to this repeatedly- I dont have to stop my cassette and wait 8 seconds for it to rewind!
I have an instant replay button now😂😎👇
This is a superb song. The only thing better was when Beavis and Butthead were watching this video and doing the "blurry head" thing.
This is my favorite band ever.
Love how this song is so loaded up and full sounding. It would be awesome to hear it live with the orchestra and the piano.
This 👆 but for the whole album
This is one of my favorite songs of the 90's, they're putting out an album sometime early in '09...they released a single from that album last month on Napster called 'Oranges and Apples', sounds great!
This comment is nostalgic.. Freaking Napster!
They released more music last year, check it out
Great memories of seeing these guys supporting Prefab Sprout at Sheffield City Hall around Cake era. PS didn't come close.
One of the best songs I have heard. The coolest band to hang with and listen live!
Came here because of a comment someone made about this band on a "Housemartins" video. Good band, good tune.
If you don't know the Housemartins, check out the songs "Happy Hour" and "We're not Deep".
Lots of other great songs too.
mayb the best song of 93' but maybe also the most underrated song ever
I remember listening to this back in 2017..my depression days. Love this song
I love this song, the lead singers my uncle
Congrats!!Great frontman!
Awesome!
Congratulations, love this!!!
does that mean you're the offspring of Eddi?
I live in Colorado and I can tell you that your uncle is a cool dude. I've seen them many times and twice we have sat either before the show or after the show tipping one back. Great experience
ending a song is an art that very few musicians knows how to do the way The Trash Can Sinatras do in each and every song ...
Shame this song's too short, it takes over 2 minutes to get to the wonderfully catchy chorus. Then instead of another verse and bringing back the chorus again, it just fades out. Still great though so I always play it twice.
I’m about to cry…
Here, have a vodka-soaked pastry, fresh from Chernobyl radiation zone…
I agree GiacoC I would have never known of this song if it hadnt been for an alternative radio station that i listened to alot played it along with some other songs I discovered...sadly the station went top 40 in 1995 and I was sick to my stomach
Same here, when I lived in Vegas. Hurt my heart.
Song title "Obscurity Knocks" refers to the TV show "Opportunity Knocks"
Obsurity knocks brought me here, and I'm loving every second in 2020🤩. Anyone else?
Its fathers day. What u listening to? I'm happy as hell 👍
the drumbeats in the last 20-25 seconds of the song... they're so awesome
Great album. Great Video."I've had women, I've had germs" lol genius.
THE BEST SONG OF THE 90s.
my history teacher has a transhcan sinatras poster in his room... thanks, teach! :D
The greatest band of all time!
Great song and video and a great band 😊
i air this a lot stunning single......should have been a chartopper
Magnificent !!!
THE BEST SONG OF THE 90S.
I was a teenage boy I heard this song at six o'clock in the morning on the way to school and the day was special!
Love this one ❤
Used to go see this band in their very early days from when they released their first single. Every tune a banger and it beats me why they weren’t massive. Good time
Just preordered their new album. Go to their website and join the pledge.
ため息もののスコッチ・ネオ・アコバンド、トラッシュ・キャン・シナトラズ、スマッシュ・チューン"Hayfever"~90年代エディンバラが実に熱い
Wonderful song.

Somehow ... whenever I make a cd, this song ends up on there
Excelente canção e excelente banda. "I've Seen Everything" tá no meu top 5 e é umas das grandes pérolas da década de 90. Esse grupo ao menos merecia um pouco de reconhecimento

Agreed with you on your opinion 100%
Great video for an amazing song. Once again, credit to TCS for trying to get a Scottish phrase - tammy - into the Dictionary Of Pop!
not going to lie, Beavis and Butthead brought me here
Same. And every time I see their heads move fast, I shake my head left and right fast
Same
Gary Bedell 😂 I saw the episode and came straight here! I was introduced to death metal music watching bevis & butthead in the 90's
Beavis and Butt-Head also got me here.
The cartoon also got me addicted to watching music videos.
Gary Bedell me too
Moscow's in Ayrshire, what's the problem??
Sounds from the 90's! Beavis and Butthead brought me here as well :)
that was one of the scariest videos i ever seen in my life.
Fantastic..........
@nymetsrock Check out Andy Latimer's guitar playing with Camel. Try their song " Snow Goose Excerpts" or " Hymn to Her ". Camel and Andy were fantastic and underrated. They're an amazing surprise. Louise

Nah you aren’t an old fogie ! Great music should be appreciated by all!
i am normally a nero and skrillex fan but this rocks
I still have a Trashcan Sinatras bumper sticker on my truck
I'm not sure, but I completely agree with you
if the lead singer wore skinny jeans and or talked about bitches and money
then this band would of been more famous good thing they didn't their obscurity
makes them all the better TCS so sweet sounding
Un grand groupe. Dommage for the groupe.
Quality.
Muito bom!!!
Beavis and Butthead brought me here, so many years later.
I played this TCS song in the car while driving with my friend and he said, "Oh, I saw this song on Beavis and Butthead!"
Гениально!!!!!!!!
I can hear oasis , suede , bluetones and stone roses. Not simple enough lyrically and musically 4 charts. A pick me up song.
Reminds me of early MTV
Completely underrated
I think Arcade Fire may have been inspired by this... I can hear Reflector and some songs off the Suburbs
i think it is "i'm harry hello" and not "i'm happy alone". the latter would make good sense too, though :-)
Don't be cryptic like new order and call it " only one way" lol .Love the piano
Beavis and butthead brought me here. Great song.
But Frank sings better than Beavis.
I think.
Also...
These are a bunch of British mama's boys
@@DaleRC75 1. It's a quote from the episode
2. Scotland is a part of Great Britain
Thank you, Beavis and Butthead
This video needs an upgrade to 4k HD asap!
Harry is right... the rest is just chemistry !!
blame it on the rise of subpar britpop bands and the nme turning from the indie to the mainstream.
anhhhh
Brilliant, timeless pop. Why weren't these guys megastars. Because the lead singer doesn't look like Brad Pitt?
Recently found out one of the band members are related to my grandad
better audio quality please
yet another song i discovered through Beavis and Butthead LOL
LOL, remember this band from Jr high LONG B4 Nirvana came out. Loved em and had no idea they're still together. Still enjoy Cake.
Beavis and Butt head brought me here 😁
@DaTman4496 they're good, but most underrated band ever?, now lets be reasonable
It's all about waiting for that hook at 2:10. Ha ha.
@@DaleRC75 Well...3 people agree with me. That was what sold me on this song when I first heard it.
You could catch fish with the hooks.
I want a tiger squid woman…
this awesome song would have been even better if they'd used that great chorus a couple more times instead of just at the end
Brought to this trash via Beavis and Butthead🤣
This has a strong Jellyfish feel to it ..
Reverse Flash
Only one comment on the video: heroin withdrawl.
The song is awesome though!
A wee bit overwrought maybe?
It’s crazy how we get lost.
And how lost a person can get in the most absurd fever dreams just because of some grimy American tarts…
Someone here in 2023?
Yep
@@fwobebe5164omg lol
These are a bunch of British mama’s boys
That’s deliberately false, they have clearly transcended their moms…
sara bareilles stole this song :/
Ouch. Hearing that might just ruin this song for me.
What do you mean
@@user-vi4xy1jw7e the piano melody sounds like Love Song by Sara Bareilles… love both tho
@@adrianpink8144 Where Is Brittain
this looks like another bunch of british momma's boys
Yet you watched AND commented!
Not impressed.
