In 2012 I was at the height of chronic depression and anxiety. It was the first time I contemplated taking my own life. I'm happy to say I've survived more than 8 years since with many successful experiences and joyous moments, in part, due to this video and the words of Jim Carrey and Eckhart Tolle. For all those struggling with mental health, you get through this life with less pain and more happiness through understanding the mind and giving negative emotions less validity.
This is to Jim Carrey: You've been one of my favorite actors for a long time - since "The Truman Show", one of my top two favorite movies. Recently, I read your biography on your web-site: you are now not only one of my favorite actors but I highly respect you, too! I see you as an evolved soul who was able to rise due to your own personal qualities and trusting your inner wisdom (and following it). What an inspiration you are! I tried not to wake up 5 months ago, which made me really start searching for POSITIVE things to watch, to listen to, and to believe. Thank Goodness we are not all the same, and you have brought edification to the table, to uplift people like me and your mom!

My 28 year old son, Philip used to do the perfect "Jim Carrey" to make his Mom laugh, or feel better depending on the situation. After seeing this I am reminded why I love you so much.. I would not have made it without you.They are all 3 grown, youngest prepping for Airforce and college. THANK YOU.. you do more than you realize!

When we come back into "reality" our "ego" will be reconfigured and renewed if we have allowed that to happen. We are not the "ego" and the "ego" is not us. It is simply a part of us. No word or definition can define who we are. We are Consciousness, energy and awareness and more than that also. The ego can get int the way.
