In 2012 I was at the height of chronic depression and anxiety. It was the first time I contemplated taking my own life. I'm happy to say I've survived more than 8 years since with many successful experiences and joyous moments, in part, due to this video and the words of Jim Carrey and Eckhart Tolle. For all those struggling with mental health, you get through this life with less pain and more happiness through understanding the mind and giving negative emotions less validity.
The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.

Jim Carrey, the way you helped your mother deal with depression and other hardships, however concrete or not...you have done the same FOR ME, as well, and I'm sure thousands upon thousands of other people. I tried not to wake up 5 months ago, which made me really start searching for POSITIVE things to watch, to listen to, and to believe. Thank Goodness we are not all the same, and you have brought edification to the table, to uplift people like me and your mom!
It's mindblowing to imagine that everything that happens in your life, is already embedded in your DNA the moment you were born. I'm not saying it's the truth, but imagining it is really humbling. That you are just one of the infinite experiences of the one consciousness - a web of infinite possibilities - and that you are experiencing it uniquely. Rick and Morty style.

Jim's a spiritual schitzo, but he's all about positive attitude and humor and helping people... that counts for alot.
It's funny, because Mother Theresa and Ghandi were both very disturbed and dark people who were hurtful behind closed doors. But they represented something that inspired people to be BETTER than them.
No matter what Jim C. does... infidelity, ego, whatever. He inspires people to smile, and care for each other, and be positive. That's a serious win for a funny guy.
