Jim tries to get into a deeper, spiritual, meaningful talk, and the interviewers just want to stick to the Q&A. What a shame. I'd like to listen more of what Jim really wants to say...
Me too. I found the "teacher" and message that I think Jim was referencing in the talk (about what depression really is). It is a really profound: ruclips.net/video/KPx0nN6aQj0/видео.html
I liked what he said about depression: "you should think of the word, depressed, as deep rest. You need deep rest from the character you've been trying to create". Spot on!
Hm, I like the idea of 'you're so busy pressing down all your anger and pain which you think you have no right to have that life becomes unbearable/too much' better. Deep rest, okay, but only if you stop pressing down, let it come up and out, own it, move on. It's a decision to pull yourself out of the mire. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. Peace!
I've never felt this way about a celebrity before, but I really, really wish I could just sit down with Jim Carrey nowadays, and just hang out with him. And talk with him. Not even about his career, but the things he would have to say about life, about philosophy, and being able to engage back and forth.
I used to love Jim when I was a kid, then I stopped caring for his weirdness and movies. He was too much. Then all of a sudden I see him doing these interviews recently n over the past few years, and I now have an even higher respect and admiration for him than I ever did. He's now calm, relatively, and speaks truth and from the heart. People say he's gone nuts, but he has only woken up much like the rest of us. Keep doing you Jim.
As much as I truly love Burr, it would be equally as interesting in my opinion to rather turn that into: Bill Burr needs a Jim Carrey-style Ego death, psychedelic experience and then just talks about his daily thoughts/opinions through the newly refined and polished lens of perceptive Truth, etc. .. Y'know, Talking about how when we truly boil down the essences of the human condition, that we're all ocean consciousness and single-celled organisms acting as the actual Universe that is experiencing itself through ethereal nature of both Time and Space. etc. I'd listen!
It's so awesome to see Jim in a lengthy, relaxed and conversational interview. I feel there's never any time for him to settle down when he does traditional talk shows, but hearing him just sit back and shoot the shit is fucking great.

You should check out his interviews on the Howard Stern Show. Howard is one of the best interviewers I've ever heard, and he provides a relaxed environment where you really get to know Jim Carrey. He has been very spiritual for a long time now.
Jim is what set me off on my path of awakening. Before listening to his graduation speech every morning while I got ready for work, for a month, I was so lost. That was almost 8 years ago. Since then I hit rock bottom, and started to change my life. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have known where to look. Now I've found many sources of wisdom and teaching including my own. But he was the first. Love you Jim.
Jim does a real 'nice guy' move at the start where the interviewers are talking about being nervous, so he doesn't wait for the awkward fumbling questions that will inevitably happen. He just starts talking from his youth onwards. Really great guy.
The guy is so fluid with it, too. You can tell how natural, real, and unafraid he is. Or rather how much acceptance he has come to, of everything. It can look crazy when not to the level he is yet, but also looks as freeing as ever. To the point where a complete "Fuck it, man" is meant so honestly, sincerely, and caringly.
This is going to sound bizarre, but the most profound dream I ever had was years ago, before I had ever heard him talk about any of this, and in my dream he said, “You are me, we are everyone. We’re all one, kid.” I wrote it down in the notes app on my phone and dated it as soon as I woke up because it left such an impact. Now listening to this, he’s saying exactly that.
Thank you so much for sharing this 7 months ago! It deeply resonates with me, in an odd & abstract way - how you present that message from Jim in your dream likely was a "spiritual transmission" for lack of better term. There's a great Happening going around the world, and the 'actors' in this are not those we would have once expected! :-) Be blessed out there!

I believe Jim’s thoughts are closely aligned with much of Eastern philosophy. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is a wonderful, very readable text that I would highly recommend. It has taught me more than I can put in words about how to deal with my own suffering I have experienced through life.
He got much of this kind of wisdom from a book written by Eckhart Tolle, called "the Power of Now." You can even search on youtube where Carrey talks on the podium at one of Tolle's events.
The power of Jim and his love of matter and what matters. So motivating, you know. Love it. Can you love it. Will you love it. Shouldn't you love it? Great, so great

THIS IS THE BEST INTERVIEW OF JIM CARRY I HAVE EVER SEEN. SPIRITUALLY, I HAD THE BREAK THROUGH IN 2007 THATS WHAT "HE" HAS KNOW. WE'RE NOT THE BODY OR PERSONALITY. WHERE JUST A CONSTRUCT. WE ARE WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR. PEOPLE KEEP LOOKING OUTSIDE THEMSELVES FOR SALVATION AND UNDERSTANDING. WHEN IT TURNS OUT IT WAS IN US THE WHOLE TIME. PEACE.
Did you write this in CAPS so it would stand out? If so, why? Surely you trying to be noticed in a youtube thread where you explain how you had the break through seems like your ego is still in control, no? If you feel the need to be noticed or considered then maybe the break through wasn't permanent.
Cypher Sessions - Belfast I "HAD" A BREAK THREW. KNOW I'M JUST A SELF A WERE A-HOLE ON THE INTERNET. I'M A TERRIBLE EXAMPLE. I'M LEVEL 4 NARSISIST. BUT AT LEAST I KNOW THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING. MY EYE SIGHT ALSO SUCKS SO CAPS HELPS ME OUT. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS INLIGHTENMENT. WHO IS BEING INLIGHTEN? "I" STILL KNOW THAT I'M NOT THE BODY . LET'S LEAVE IT AT THAT. PEACE.
It moved me to tears when Jim mentioned the first thing he noticed when he won the 6th grade competition is his father reaction to that. 50 years passed that incident and he still remembers it. I believe kids very much need that type of engagement and appreciation from parents. I think I haven't received much of that.
I want Jim Carry as the voice in my head telling "One step at a time, one day at a time, the anxiety will go away, the depression will no longer trouble you, and the happiness will be there"
The way I see it, Jim Carrey had an ''acting overdose''. I've watched him on countless shows over the years and he is so ''on''. Even when he gets more real, he'll usually end his story with a joke because that's what people expect. Now he's exhausted from it but also less anxious about being himself in public and that's a really good thing. I'm so glad that he's that alert about his feelings, that's really reassuring. A very strong human being, that one! Love him, always will.
I'd love to see him on Russell Brands podcast also...he's awake I get him..I think the ancients thought like this we've forgotten our spiritual power ..I feel the tide is now turning x
this man is as much of a genius as Andy Kaufman if not more. He's not crazy, he's an entertainer. To me, he sounds intelligent, aware, and awake. He observes and sees what most of us refuse to acknowledge about our own existence.
Since my awakening I have had many people tell me they are worried about me, or I seem like I'm going through a depression or crisis. It's so hard to communicate how letting go of the ideas of "good" or "bad" or "sad" or "happy" and just BEING is the most euphoric, full, elated experience that I have ever had. Life transforms from a constant struggle to feel good into constant growth and connection with what truly exists, which is only possible when you let go of the ideas of society that we cling to for an illusion of security. Freedom is in you. It just takes one moment of seeing your eternal nature to make you an agent of positive change. I love Jim Carrey for fearlessly spreading the message and waking people up.
Amazing Jim! Bravo! It's amazing to see how you liberated yourself and said NO! I do not want to pretend anymore and be someone I am not! Taking control of your life.
SmashinBeauty Yeah well, you might want to spend a bit of time considering how he treated his (now deceased) ex-girlfriend. It’s easy to spout self-serving ‘spiritual’ BS, but actions speak louder than words.
I agree, great to see he is finally showing his true self and ok with it. It's clear he's had a awakening of awareness and came out on the good side of it.
this is an awakening. Although the two interviewers havent a clue what he is referring to, I was in an accident, in a coma for three weeks and when I awoke this started for me. This was a very enjoyable 26 and a half minutes, nay.. the most enjoyable part of my day. Love you character-of-Jim-Carrey.
People that are no awake other it and will never until they are called upon. I felt different and question a lot my entire life, been given signs but the ego fought it for decades until I meet my other half about two years ago and been on a forced awakening since which is extreme beautiful but also the most difficult thing I’ve been through with ego death. Good bless and love to you all going through this 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
I think sometimes he uses humor as sarcasm...but some people don’t get it. Like he’s making fun of something or someone because he despises the idea...sort of hard to explain. Like he’s disgusted with the people around him...make sense?
He knows his authentic self/spirit. Broke away from attachments to man made created distractions. go into nature close your eyes and go into darkness, that's where creation start.
The guy has finally awakened spiritually and understands the reality and oneness of everything. This is the sole purpose of our lifein the human form - to evolve spiritually. Brilliant to listen to this from a celebrity. Love and light!
@@livingashtree1942 For sure. I don’t think Fun Times was putting him down. But if a depressed person who’s been sold on dissociative disorder as a lifestyle recommends following what depression tells him, that’s not a recommendation anyone should take. How many regular people can even afford to walk away from their lives so they can just lie around all the time? One tip: the body, in order to maintain its health and strength, must move. That’s how the body is constructed. So to lie around being depressed is literally self-destructive. But hey, nothing’s real (to quote John Lennon under the influence of drugs and a questionable guru, something he renounced later); so to Jim, it’s ok to just lie there. Note that real yogis teach a many-branched tree of yogic practices, including physical exercise.
Hahaha omg this is beautiful. Jim goes so far over these guys' heads they dont even sprak the same language. Its wonderfull to see a "famous" person go through awakening so publicly. Stunning. Go jim!
I love Jim Carey. His knowledge of the human condition is almost comforting. If people would stop trying so hard to judge or make headlines, they would realize the depth behind his words. I love it and greatly appreciate him sharing his knowledge.
Jim is now enlightened. He is Awareness Itself: He exists as Being-Consciousness-Bliss. He no longer disagrees with himself, others, life, or god. Conflict is gone because he is now everything, no longer the ego known as Jim Carrey, who was but a delusion, or, yes, a mask, metaphorically speaking.
This is so absolutist that one could assume it is sarcasm, heh. Enlightenment is not a yes/no thing, and we all kinda are awarness itself, viewed from non-duality. A being 100% free of fear doesn't exist because there would be nothing to manifest on the material plane. They key lies in accepting that.
Great to see Jim again, i feel alot of people shut him down these days because of their own lack of understanding of what he is talking about, so its nice to see him try explain it for them. Great man with a great mind
This was fantastic and I want to see him speak like this again, but the world doesn't deserve it. "They landed on the moon." is a great summary of where we should all be at.
This is probably my favorite jim carrey interview, you really see that he went really deep in the Andy Kauffman character, and his take on depression is spot on!
True self? He says he does not exist...no self. "Selfness" is found when you have a relationship with your creator. I believe Jim is still searching...I believe God is waiting for him to seek for ultimate Truth which is that we are MADE in the image of God. We are not all this one consciousness thing. Dog doo doo is not god. Matter is not God. God is spirit and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in Truth. Truth by definition is exclusive. "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me" ~Jesus the Christ.
curiousgeorge555 We are all still searching. The search never ends. We are the creators. We are God. Matter does not actually exist. The "one consciousness thing" is just another way of saying spirit, i.e. God. You're talking about the same thing as Jim. This whole reality is a dream created for fun by God, infinite spirit, consciousness, aka us. Also: Why is truth exclusive? Why would God create billions of different creatures if he didn't want them to have different perspectives?
curiousgeorge555 Since Christians tend not to like pantheism ("we are God"), I will offer you a thought experiment. Pretend you are God. You have infinite time, infinite intelligence. What would you do? Well, you would entertain yourself, wouldn't you? Perhaps play a game, pretend you are a little creature. Hey that's us! Well, isn't it not that crazy an idea that God with infinite time on his hands might pretend to be a human for fun?
curiousgeorge555 Hi. I grew up in a church. My dad was the pastor. I was taught that too. I graduated from Liberty University, a fundamentalist Christian College. I'm not saying you are right or wrong. It sounds like you are repeating what you have been told. It sounds like you have a well structured mental construct. I bet you can provide the biblical references for your beliefs. What's important is being silent. Inner peace means the mental arguments subside and eventually are gone all together. The memory of God returns to the quiet mind.
Sounds like what they say about conspiracy theorists who really are people who see through the lies and corruption. Easier to call them crazy and try to discredit them than acknowledge the truth they speak.
My favorite human being on this planet. I first saw him in Dumb and Dumber, I was 10, now I'm 33, and I still look at him with love, awe, smile on my face and tears in my eyes)
Love the fact that his first big movie was about Mask that gave him power (or what he thought was) and at the end he gets rid and has what he wants. Life imitating art imitating life.
Enlightenment is beautiful and I think everyone should strive for it. I’m in the process now but f letting my ego go as it caused my depressing and anxiety for so long. It’s beautiful to start the process of not existing as your unintentional character. Jim is terrific at explaining this
I love that Jim Carrey's spiritual teacher is Jeff Foster. Foster is such a kind soul (and he himself mocks the idea that he is some kind of spiritual teacher). I went on a weekend retreat with him a few weeks ago. A beautiful invitation to accept everything and stop resisting life, with all it's pain, frustration, suffering and yes, love. Even stop resisting your resistance. Embrace your whole being. You're not "broken" when you feel sad, depressed or when life hasn't turned out the way you had envisioned it.
Kabe Miller What about Mohamed? He is just a crazy dude that invented this sect out of anger and he used the bible to get events and twisted them. Jesus Christ died for us to pay our debt to God the Father because the consequences of our sin is eternal separation from God which means eternity in hell but God doesnt want us to go there so He sent His only Son to die as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
I luv jim Carrey ❤, I'm from India but when I discover Hollywood movies and actors then out of all it's Jim Carrey who really got me at the end, and i literally fall in luv with him , not just as an artist fan but as a human being i luv his thinking and philisophy Now here In search of any of his interview related to his life and experiences What a human being ❤ A beautiful artist and a beautiful person ❤
This happens when you begin rejecting what "society" says you "should be and believe in." Call it MTGOW, call it Minimalism, it is just refusing to work jobs you hate to buy shit you don't need just to impress people you don't know. Tyler Durden is strong in this one. Good for you Jim. Stay strong against the haters.
“Refusing to work jobs you hate to buy shit you don’t need”- a concept I’m trying to internalize. It is so hard to break out of that trance when it feels like leaving everything behind-- friends, lifestyle, “security”, etc.
@@awaken1238 it's leaving behind the unreal and going after the real..... Real deep friends, a sincere lifestyle to who you really are, the security of not being the image you but the real you....... Good luck pal.
to me it seems more like he jumped from one crisis into a saveplace. some weird form of "spiritualism" like he couldn't handle a threatening nihilistic or exentialistic world and found just another hideout.
What I would give to meet Jim Carrey! His existance and his evolution and work have always had a great impact on me. Also probably pretty high on the list of people whove made me smile and laugh and helped sortof mold my boldness and bravery in enriching an aspect of myself to embrace being goofy, and silly, and funny and little wacky and inappropriate lol 😄. I just love everything he's done. And I love to hear his thoughts on life and just everything. He's really truly such an amazing one of a kind guy. 🥰 Love Jim Carrey! 🫶
He’s a Legend. The only regret I have is that he did not do the sequel to The Mask, and watching this interview made me realise that he also regrets that decision, he mentioned The Mask so many times. But I get that he served us, the spectators. Gave his life for us, and we don’t appreciate what he did for us. Some people are horrible, he clearly hates the paparazzi. People didn’t look at him as human, but only as an entertainer, and in reality he is so much more!
Only people who lived their whole lives as somebody can find peace in the idea of not being anyone. Its all still an empty idea. When Jim falls, someone is always there to catch him. When a nobody falls, no one notices. To taste anything, you first must have a tongue.
That's not entirely true a "nobody" might be the most important person in their workplace, the constant pressure of that holding them down A nobody might be the most loved child in a family, constantly having to appease their elders. A "nobody" could be a homeless vet, trying to live up to the values he was raised on and trained to exhibit while hating all of it. Everybody has a role they feel they must play it isn't until you stop caring what people think of how you play that role are you free. Societal pressure is ever present, to all but the most reclusive of hermits.
I love and relate to the things Jim are saying. But it is like a climber who went to the top of the mountain, came back, and are telling us that there is nothing there. I don’t know, maybe people have to get there to see with their own eyes. The view up there should be beautiful, but no one can stand there for too long, and when you see it, you actually end up realizing it was not worthy, because you can have the same view from wherever you are. The desire to go up there slaves you. I’m being metaphorically here, but that is how I’m digesting it. Cheers, Jim!
Wow I have always loved him Carrey and I am so great full that he let the world see this part of him because it is contagious. He is so humble and I wish to have just as much life and spirit as he does! Thank you Jim!
Am I the only one annoyed at how both those guys were not present with Jim? They’re heads were somewhere else the whole time. What a shame.

I love how Jim has this deep spiritual awakening and shares his experiences and you can see how - at the same time - the interviewers get nervous, because they want sth. else out of the interview and would like to stick to their plan.
Everybody acts or looks at Jim when he talks about his spiritual outlook on life like he's crazy or something. But honestly he sounds just like a buddhist without the mystical shit.
Some Cynical Asshole ..... Exactly....Hes just a normal dude......like if you light up a spliff and start philosophising......BUT HE S FAMOUS......AND SOME idiots are freaking out.....But THE BIG MAJORITY we are just like him.....so its all good. 😁✌ .....
Thank you. Thank you. Right? I don't know why people overreact about a celebrity changing their lifestyles or outlooks on life. They are just normal people trying to live their way through life and got lucky to be able to have a job that pays them so well. But that doesn't mean they are any different or better than us. They can adjust and change their lifestyle however they wish just like many people do everyday. But I feel like some of the people that do overreact cling to celebrities because they look to them as idols and examples of how we should live. When we shouldn't. They are just people too.
I was thinking the same thing, and really don't understand why anyone is making a big deal out of it. I'm happy for him, and I enjoy listening to him but he just seems like a normal guy being normal.
I love the way that Jim openly talks about things. I have worked long enough with psychology to see schizophrenia, not in full blown but elements of it. As much as I love Jim´s love for his dad, he needs to step out of his shadow and create who ever Jim should be, giving meaning to what he finds relevant. I personally love the idea about character, and it is an amazingly helpful tool, but even though a character can seem like an escape, it is still considered part of ourselves. It is sad to see people having to erase themselves, in order to experience a break for what they find hard to handle. Fraud talked alot about it in his early teachings and is some of the best work to date. I should love to see a talk with Jonathan Petersson and Jim on this subject.
underrated observation. i agree he was living to fulfill his dad's own unfulfilled expectations that he never really got to find out who he is or what he wanted from life. seems like for all the love Jim and his dad had between them, Jim never got to explore himself outside of what pleased his dad.
You ROCK! Brother! Kudos!!! I always felt there was more behind the outer facade you wore. We even use the same term, "construct"! ~ Constructs of consciousness. I've been actively participating, consciously, with these "constructs" since I was awakened in 1972. As a 1st wave forerunner, I know that most of the dark matrix of separation and limitation has been dismantled. As a planetary collective, I believe we are now in the 'twilight' zone. Even though the bands have been lifted, we're still being affected by the encoded cellular imprint. As you know, once we know we're free, and BELIEVE WE'RE FREE, WE ARE FREE!!! Then we get to begin our journey of returning HOME, to ONEness. Thank you for sharing your knowings at this time. It's vital to humanity's awakening awareness. I've also started writing my book. I think you'll appreciate its title : "MOONWALKING AROUND THE SUN ~ My Story of Waking Up as a Spirit Wearing a Bodysuit" (All rights reserved 2017) With Many Blessings to you, and to US ALL, as we stream forth from~to the center of creation. _()_ Now THAT's a construct worth keeping!!! _()_ _()_ _()_
Joie Bourisseau doesnt your need to type "all rights reserved" to protect your personal work (book) go against the thing you and Jim are all about? If we are all one and you no longer think in terms of "me" and "I" and "mine" then there would be no need to reserve rights for anything you do.

I hope he's going to write a book sharing his thoughts, I'll be interested in it
dc2010ist he actually just came out with a book :) it’s co-written with his close friend Dana Vachon called Memoirs and Misinformation!
I believe Jim’s thoughts are closely aligned with much of Eastern philosophy.
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is a wonderful, very readable text that I would highly recommend. It has taught me more than I can put in words about how to deal with my own suffering I have experienced through life.
He got much of this kind of wisdom from a book written by Eckhart Tolle, called "the Power of Now."
You can even search on youtube where Carrey talks on the podium at one of Tolle's events.
The power of Jim and his love of matter and what matters. So motivating, you know. Love it. Can you love it. Will you love it. Shouldn't you love it? Great, so great
im jim's fan since i first saw him when i was 8 and he had never failed me, thank you Jim
He just gets it. I love him for that courage to speak about it openly on platforms .. truly a gem.
Thank you Jim for this... the world needs it!

Been watching Jim a lot lately. It's good to get to know him. His love for his father is deep.
PEACE.
Fair play for your honesty man.

You need to find Jesus my friend!
It moved me to tears when Jim mentioned the first thing he noticed when he won the 6th grade competition is his father reaction to that. 50 years passed that incident and he still remembers it. I believe kids very much need that type of engagement and appreciation from parents. I think I haven't received much of that.
First authentic interview I've seen of him. How refreshing. Looking forward to seeing him in 10 years.
I want Jim Carry as the voice in my head telling "One step at a time, one day at a time, the anxiety will go away, the depression will no longer trouble you, and the happiness will be there"
I really like how he acknowledges it’s okay to just be you. We don’t have to “be” someone…the individual is enough
Yes. It's like he can't put the character away. It dogs him every moment of his life. He's so exhausted by it, yet he is incapable of turning it off.
Jim I enjoy your presence and your wisdom SO much.
@Catherine Louise Hello Thanks for your lovely comment and support much love
Feel so lucky to have grown up and growing with Jim. This dude truly gets it. I really hope more people get it too
Jim Carrey is one of my favorite actors from Canada.
Joe Rogan needs to get him on his podcast.
Would be so sick
Joe Rogan is a fucking idiot and should be obscured by irrelevance.
I'd love to see him on Russell Brands podcast also...he's awake I get him..I think the ancients thought like this we've forgotten our spiritual power ..I feel the tide is now turning x
totally!
Alex Paliy great minds think alike.
this man is as much of a genius as Andy Kaufman if not more. He's not crazy, he's an entertainer. To me, he sounds intelligent, aware, and awake. He observes and sees what most of us refuse to acknowledge about our own existence.
His take on sadness vs depression is a wonderful description.
He’s seems so genuine! It seems very candid. The best Jim Carey interview by far
Amazing Jim! Bravo! It's amazing to see how you liberated yourself and said NO! I do not want to pretend anymore and be someone I am not! Taking control of your life.

Yeah well, you might want to spend a bit of time considering how he treated his (now deceased) ex-girlfriend.
It’s easy to spout self-serving ‘spiritual’ BS, but actions speak louder than words.
I agree, great to see he is finally showing his true self and ok with it. It's clear he's had a awakening of awareness and came out on the good side of it.
easy to take control of your life with millions of dollars and no bills to pay
this is an awakening.
Good bless and love to you all going through this 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Jim is such a golden human being.
Thanks for all your comedy Jim Carrey you were part of my childhood
I think sometimes he uses humor as sarcasm...but some people don’t get it. Like he’s making fun of something or someone because he despises the idea...sort of hard to explain. Like he’s disgusted with the people around him...make sense?
I see it too. especially in the beginning of this video
I saw that as well, he needs to in order for the audience to feel “confortable”
Right on sarcasm makes me get
Yea, it's called sardonicism.
Wow, seeing and hearing Jim Carrey like this feels so real and refreshing. Good for him to be him self and speaking freely. ❤
@Märta Elinsdotter Hello Thanks for your lovely comment and support much love
He knows his authentic self/spirit. Broke away from attachments to man made created distractions. go into nature close your eyes and go into darkness, that's where creation start.
I appreciate Jim's openness. I wish these 2 gentlemen would pay closer attention to him. They also seem to try and cut him off at times.
I got that vibe too. They seem very uncomfortable
“Let those who have ears hear” they just aren’t ready to hear everything he’s been saying yet.
The guy has finally awakened spiritually and understands the reality and oneness of everything. This is the sole purpose of our lifein the human form - to evolve spiritually. Brilliant to listen to this from a celebrity. Love and light!
I totally am mesmerized by listening to Jim tell stories about his childhood. Way cool.
"...depression is your body saying fuck you I dont want to be this character anymore..."
So in other words, he's depressed. I was hoping someone else caught that.
Fun Times Many of us are depressed, old souls especially get very easily depressed
Yeah, but no, that’s not what depression is; that’s what a depressed person may say. I hope he gets better help than a fake “spiritual friend.”
@@funtimes8296 nope he’s not
Hahaha omg this is beautiful. Jim goes so far over these guys' heads they dont even sprak the same language.
Its wonderfull to see a "famous" person go through awakening so publicly. Stunning. Go jim!
Often ppl don't care about anothers language, they have their own issues. Time some ppl just got over themselves.
I love Jim Carey. His knowledge of the human condition is almost comforting. If people would stop trying so hard to judge or make headlines, they would realize the depth behind his words. I love it and greatly appreciate him sharing his knowledge.
Amazing interview. No rush, no background laugh, no interruptions. Brilliant. That was such a joy to listen to!
Lovely to hear about the impact of his father on Jim's choice of life path and celebrating him when he succeeded!
Thank you for your message.
Yet he hates Trump
This is so absolutist that one could assume it is sarcasm, heh.
Enlightenment is not a yes/no thing, and we all kinda are awarness itself, viewed from non-duality.
A being 100% free of fear doesn't exist because there would be nothing to manifest on the material plane. They key lies in accepting that.
Lol, last line. Metaphorically speaking....god I loved the mask when I was a wee lass.

That's gold.
Great to see Jim again, i feel alot of people shut him down these days because of their own lack of understanding of what he is talking about, so its nice to see him try explain it for them. Great man with a great mind
And I have never heard about Andy Kaufmann before The Man on the Moon. Thank you, Jim!
It is so great to see him express his true self and deepen his awareness of nonduality :)
Yes, Non-dual talk in a cool way. I like the other non-dual talkers too.
Well, isn't it not that crazy an idea that God with infinite time on his hands might pretend to be a human for fun?
curiousgeorge555
Hi. The memory of God returns to the quiet mind.
it's not that people think Jim Carrey is crazy. He has just finally woken up to what is real and that's why people think he is crazy.
Sounds like what they say about conspiracy theorists who really are people who see through the lies and corruption. Easier to call them crazy and try to discredit them than acknowledge the truth they speak.
@@bayleymacintosh5622 except Jim never went crazy. He's just happier
He's a very wise and humble man. Loved the conversation.
My favorite human being on this planet. I first saw him in Dumb and Dumber, I was 10, now I'm 33, and I still look at him with love, awe, smile on my face and tears in my eyes)
Jim needs to start his own podcast 🎉😊
I am proud of Jim and he has really evolved and to get to such a high level and to come away from it all and grow is powerful.
Love the fact that his first big movie was about Mask that gave him power (or what he thought was) and at the end he gets rid and has what he wants. Life imitating art imitating life.
I thought that as well. It's rather poetic, isn't it?
Amazing person, jim carrey is a saint! He has found what he's been looking for
Not in that order though
ethan quirke He hasn't found what he is looking for , Jim like all of us needs Jesus Christ and be saved.
+JackofSpades That apparently helps your cult following my man, don't give it a miss.
Heidyn De La Paz what about Muhammad?
Kabe Miller What about Mohamed? He is just a crazy dude that invented this sect out of anger and he used the bible to get events and twisted them. Jesus Christ died for us to pay our debt to God the Father because the consequences of our sin is eternal separation from God which means eternity in hell but God doesnt want us to go there so He sent His only Son to die as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
Doing comedy research when Jim Carrey was a kid took waaay more effort than it does now. Good thing his dad was behind him. How amazing.

Love the way you put it
@@awaken1238 it's leaving behind the unreal and going after the real..... Real deep friends, a sincere lifestyle to who you really are, the security of not being the image you but the real you....... Good luck pal.

Nice to see an interview where they are listening and not cutting each other off.
Jim Carrey has become aware.
of?
Noel K - I love how all the fake people are now waking up. STFU GTFO
aware of self
He isn't aware of everything
to me it seems more like he jumped from one crisis into a saveplace. some weird form of "spiritualism"
like he couldn't handle a threatening nihilistic or exentialistic world and found just another hideout.
I can't but appreciate the way Jim respectfully addresses and gives attention to both interviewers
That's not entirely true a "nobody" might be the most important person in their workplace, the constant pressure of that holding them down
A nobody might be the most loved child in a family, constantly having to appease their elders.
Cheers, Jim!
this man is enlightened but also has lot of pain inside him but still he express his sadness with smiling and that's the attribute of a strong people.
Wow I have always loved him Carrey and I am so great full that he let the world see this part of him because it is contagious. He is so humble and I wish to have just as much life and spirit as he does! Thank you Jim!

Gosh I think about how many many times I'll rewatch this in future. Awesome and healing talk.
Mr. Carrey Thank u so much for your honesty and openess. It has helped people open their eyes to what they think they knew. I'm one of them. Thank u.
