I agree with your comments regarding Arturia effects. I'm not interested in all the hardware emulation for effects, mixing and mastering etc, but I'm super interested in Efx Motion, Efx Fragments. (I already picked up Efx Refract when it first came out and it's very cool.) I would love a bundle of just the more creative modern effects.
QOTW : for effects only (without any instrument) I'm a big fan of IK multimedia tracks max bundle for the low cost high value point or the UVI fx bundle for the quality of the effects. For a all in one solution, I have to say plugin alliance subscription. Quality, value, and economic model make the plugin alliance bundle the best mixing plugin solutions for me. Thanks for the video.
There seems to be a ton of fx plugins that combine multiple fx together in either a straightforward way or unique way. Maybe a new video idea would be to evaluate which ones are really worth your time vs chaining what you have to achieve similar results. Also, many seem to do the same thing so GUI and unique output would be factors. Example: Could you get the same results with Arturia EFX Motions or being creative with the free Kilohearts fx?
Waves FX plugins are amazing for their price. They're not super expensive on promotions, like some other top-notch companies' plugins, yet still provide decent processing that can enhance the creativity for maximum. However, for mixing and mastering, waves plugins aren't my go-to.
QOTW: honestly don’t know how to answer that one as I have Cubase and most of the major third-party plugin manufacturers who make FXs plus some lesser known ones (Aberrant DSP and Glitchmachines). So at this point, I’m more than set. Bösendorfer was Vangelis’s grand piano of choice
I've been thinking the whole time why it's so exhausting to listen to you. I think it's partly the video editing, which makes you talk non-stop, and partly the permanent background sound.
I agree with you man. Thats why i wait until i get a deal like $99.00 for the fx bundle. Held out years and thats what i just paid for all of it. I wont pay for native instruments until summer time because during the year they release more shit. All a scam but they got to make money for people who cant wait until sales.
I can never quickly find what I need in Cubase, but I’m sure you’re right because Steinberg makes great stuff, but I find Bitwig Studio has the best effects for me, if I can’t find exactly what I need then I can tweak or build my own in The Grid.
I say to each his own, whatever works for you. I only tried Ableton Lite and I didn’t really bond with it, and to upgrade is expensive! I’ve mostly used Logic Pro and recently upgraded Cubase to the full version, I have to say maybe it’s me but I find Cubase very clunky to work in and have a hard time finding anything and have to constantly check the manual, kind of sorry I wasted the money. I will say that the chords mode (or whatever you call it) is really great way to spark creativity. Just recently I discovered I had an unused code for Bitwig Studio that came with an interface or something I bought, and I loved it so much that I upgraded last time they had a sale, I also like messing around with Roland Zenbeats to spark creativity. I guess there isn’t one perfect DAW for me 😊
Zen beats is great also love Digital Performer ( motu’s DAW ) I’m a clown when it comes to using software but this is so easy to use compared to most other DAW’s I’ve tried. Don’t understand why more people aren’t talking about it.

I'm glad you explained the new arturia effects, but why not have quick A/B comparisons????
Loved listening to you play! Pure genius! I’m a big fan of your channel.

wish you could actually play the sounds for the plugins for all to hear.
Personally I like the Arturia FX plugin even though it has a few holes.
I wish Soundtoys offered GUI scaling
I almost use Arturia effects exclusively. Got it for 99$ as a special offer... and I didn't have to pay more for effects after that
Arturia is nice, I am using it since V1 but they are going to the same road as Native Instruments, so expect the same

I love Motions!
Yeah, me too...they need to make more like that
Played Chick Corea's Bosendorfer @ Mad Hatter Studios in LA. It was beautiful.
Gotta go the Soundtoys or Arturia FX

What is your favorite DAW and why?

Waves is my FX bundle

Soundtoys is best. And not that expensive either.

Wish my comp could handle Arturia fx
Update: I got a Mac we good

Arturia is offering same upgrade price for people with FX4 or FX4 + Motions + Refract - screw the loyal customers 🎉
I don't feel screwed.

I bought FX2 for $69 on Black Friday in 2021, and will now upgrade to FX5 for $99. Sick. 🎉
@@ebeysloughim sure there is no connection but your name doesn’t have correlation with the snohomish river does it?
Best fx collection? Cubase Stock. Honestly its insanely Good 🎉😊

The worst movie about it ever? "Great" audio examples...
Dude, why do you use Ableton? Switch to Cubase if you want to make a good and nonregretable choice!
