big time appreciate what you were saying there at the end ("you just need to be doing something"). I overwhealmed myself a little bit there w trying to 'figure out' the perfect trainging, or forcing myself to follow a specific program, turns out the more i'm curious and explore/play with it the more i have 1. enjoyed it and 2. seen progress.
Hah, what a blast from the past! I also used to contribute heavily to the old GB forums and scour the internet for Ido Portal et all videos/posts. It was a huge influence on my life too, along with Mark Sisson and the Primal/Paleo movement.
i love those stretch-holds, like horse stance and long lunge. i think i might add them after my practices. and ill add overcoming isos to an indepent day or to the beginning of my lifting days. or something. oooh so muxh go cover how fun. im close to rlly building a proper program
discovering Ido Portal was a huge turning point in my life in terms of training. Definitely changed a lot for me and eventually led me to finding your channel among other
Great stuff! Exactly what I need right now.. motivation is fading with current Cali training. Just what I need to ignite the fire 🔥 thanks Tom. Are you just using these as two separate rounds In the same session? Looking forward to the next version. Had a look at the original post through the link and the whole routine is insane 😅
Thanks Tom! Very interested in core+straight basics. My core work starts with hollow body holds (aiming for 5x1min). Love to hear your recommendations. Horse and long lunge work are both scary hard and probably very good for me. Will incorporate.
Or climb up and down a few trees having fun ? Maybe try and take one knee to same side shoulder or you won't be simulating rope climb, which simulates climbina a tree. Muscle up, pulling up from between two branches rings, from under one bar. Ice cream maker, like dragon flag, reaching with feet from a fixed arm support...... on a bracnch. We are monkeys first, apes second. Durig rest periods instead of sitting wander around, this is the time to learn how the movement might shorten and stiffen your body and to gently steer it to smoothness by observing the smoothness of your gait. All the best :)

Big fan of the final presentation format / workout walkthrough you settled on for this. Fun bit of back story and packed with info.

definitely, a lot of stuff I glanced over at the time and didn't appreciate it's impact until later
Same for me
Great inspiration, would love to see the straight arm version in a future vid!
Awesome will do

I am alternating days. Performing 1 round of each A,B and C but could do another if you felt inclined to do so.
Tried doing both of these together, and it feels pretty good. But for sth that can be done daily it’s a bit much. Soreness was kinda there.

I'm aiming for 5x1 too. Stuck at 4x48 for what feels like forever
Great video, But to make it a more difficult, I would superset more with throwing some balls as far away as you can.!!
Thanks Tom
Hey Tom, how many injuries have you had and which one was the worst?
many. Worst was the labrum tear to my left shoulder last year
I believe Ido showed the way inspiration for many youtubers which have today 1mil plus followers…
That last comment start off doing some stuff then try to find perfect program end up doing some stuff 😂
I thought the A and B circuits are to be done in alternating days?
Hey Tom, how do we do them.
A and B once a week, and C with both A and B ?
this is one complete session A,B and C. performed 1-3x per week. With the other session, coming soon, I would do alternating 4-6x per week
Sounds great mate. Cheers for responding.
First time I've seen you do so much cardio

Is there still good money in property renovation? The amount of programs on TV you would think everyone is at it these days.
depends on the deal, it's worth doing but hard to do it as a main job with cash flows
Tyson edwards is awesome

Your fitness is great! I accidentally missed the thumbsup & thumbsed down. But I fixed it so hope that doesn't show up.
This... Is a warm up???
Thought ido was cancelled from all the controversy
no idea but everyone will have bits of good and bad. Don't need to throw the baby out with the bath water :)
Horse stance isn’t easy😉

Dude! You ever heard of a dust mask, or pneumoconiosis?
@@Mike-sv2nu always use when working 👍
You started in covid what actually was that?
Hey avoid giving tennis balls to your dog, it contains chemicals. Thanks for the video
You know, we’re more likely to get what we want when we ask.
what does this have to do with ido portal? the title is completely misleading!
It’s literally his blog post program that I’m following…
definitely want to see more. also, can you share that ido routine? @tommerrick
