We took our first trip to Santa Barbara from Seattle about 18 years ago and we love to travel ever since then. What a beautiful resort! Love it! MOMDUTY & ABC/LTP are the best channels EVER! LET'S GOOOOO PHILIPPINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter booked the Mahogany Pool Villa at The Farm at San Benito as a surprise gift for her Lola and me. I was so thrilled! The Farm has been in my bucket list for years (can't find any of my friends who were available to come with whenever I'm on vacay in the PH). We will be back soon!

Batangas is a favorite for a quick vacation near Metro Manila.San Benito farm is top notch Also try Pico de Loro in Nasugbu and Virgin Beach resort in Laiya both in Batangas. Now another 1 is Tagaytay Highlands in Cavite but unfortunatley its for members only and lastly Hidden Valley in Calauan Laguna

That’s my hometown 🙂. You should try batangas lomi and batangas bulalo. Very famous and specialty in batangas. Also farm at san benito is very expensive. That’s where celebrities spend their getaway from manila.

This place is overrated and overpriced. Stayed here and felt so disappointed. They have to renovate their facilities and improve their food. Waste of money.
I wonder if the Nepali conglomerate who bought it studied Philippine market prices.

Yeah, absolutely overpriced, though there are lots of resorts around the area. Even if I've a lot of money, I won't spend more than $3,600.00 /night (P180,000) just waste of money just a night?! no way! and it's not that kind of classy though.

Comgrats Mom duty for your channel it haa grown tremendously for the last couple of year. Your channel is about family advrntures, foods. If i may suggest that since you are a family you can add other activities contents like advocacies to different community activities that will involve many people. Your learnings,knowledge, technology acquired from the west can be of great help to teach the locals and empower the community thru perhaps livelihoods that will add income to them. This will be an awesome and wholesome contents that you can show to the world.

I would like also to inlcude bukidnon in mindanao as one if the coldest place in the philippines. After summer, the normal temperature will range somehwere in 23 degress to 28 degress at noon time, in night it'll be at 16-19 degress.

Oh that’s great to know! He was the best price we got quoted. Plus he has a roomy and VERY clean car. So nice he didn’t mind us bringing Mochi. I got an entire seat cover on Lazada to cover his leather seats just incase☺️

@MomDuty and there is another one, it's called Amanpulo it's a private island resort also still located at palawan, you need to take private plane going there with red carpet upon boarding a private plane going there whic is inclusive also for and your family, but if banwa private island resort you need to take a chopper or a yatch going

Lol, I thought it was among Balesin, Amanpulo or I forgot the name of the resort which is the most expensive resort in the world that can be found in Palawan. Those are the 3 most expensive resorts in the Phils and you can't just enter there even if you are a milloinaire unless you are a member.
Yes you’re completely right! Balesin Island Club is a private resort, and membership is required to visit the island. When we say exclusive resort, we mean near Manila. The Farm at San Benito is less than 2 hours away and to us it’s very exclusive👌☺️

@@MomDuty Also there are a lot of luxurious resorts here like Amanpulo and Balesin ( I believe they are for members only type of resort). If you love Palawan, try to visit Balabac Island (looks like Maldives)! ❤️
Isn't it 7,000 pesos for a private vehicle driving you to and from Lipa Batangas is quite expensive?
That is normal. Php 2.5k full tank for a innov. 2k for the driver, 2.5k for the agency.
Actually it was the most affordable price we found. They have to put gas and it includes toll fees. Plus pick up and drop off is on 2 different days. I like this driver because his car is super nice and clean. He also didn’t mind we brought our dog☺️He’ll have to pay for a car wash after.

Even though it's looks like a very nice place most people can't afford to go to all of these high end very expensive places that you always go to. Maybe one of these times you could stay at some places that us not rich people can go to if it's not below your standards.

$180,000 PPH a night to stay at that locale. Eh, no thanks MD they can have it and keep their coupons if any are offered. Too expensive and for that amount of money, it would be better spent elsewhere at many many beautiful vacation resorts in the Batangas area.
Of course:
The first property we saw is a timeshare. However, we were able to tour the mansion villa reserved for owners, not available for standard bookings. But you’re right. You can check out part 2 of our vlog we just posted so you can see where we actually stayed on the property☺️🥰

The place we introduced on the beginning is a timeshare. We got to see a mansion villa during our tour, but you need to own it to visit. It's not available for regular bookings for overnight stays.

They don’t have that app in the U.S. it’s kinda like an Amazon but wayyyy more affordable. Wish I could send you some outfits! You’d be impressed with the quality of the dresses👗☺️

The first place we showed is a time share vacation spot. We got to tour the fancy villa, but you have to own it to visit. You can't just book it for a night like other villas.

We love sharing our favorite places🙌 There were plenty of guests staying there. We were quite surprised when the lobby was super full at check in. Did you see how crowded it was?🤭The property is so big that you feel like you’re the only one though.

It's ridiculously priced and over rated. To think that there's a lot of better resorts in the world and not overly priced. That's why I haven't been to resorts in my own country. It's cheaper to go to other countries. And way cleaner too. It's disgusting how the houses and streets turned into.
It’s such a beautiful property. Plus it’s very unique in that it’s a wellness resort. The excellent service they provide and the quality is top notch. I would definitely go back👌🇵🇭

7k for drop off and pickup to lipa? Quite expensive. I live in Lipa and driving to and from Manila would cost way less. Shouldve just rented and self drove a car.

@@DaysofSummer_love you can go rent a car and self drive. petrol and tolls only cost a few bucks. if you dont mind taking public transpo, take a bus from taguig going to lipa batangas. Then from lipa, find a van that you can rent to take you to The Farm. Bus ride is just 190 from taguig one way. :)

@@DaysofSummer_love there are bus terminals in megamall and pasay area as well going to lipa. From lipa, you can pretty much hire a jeepney or van in SM terminal to take you there make sure to ask them to fetch you as well
Good to know. When I shopped around on Facebook people were charging 10-14k😳but I thought 7k wasn’t bad because of gas. Next time we’ll have to try public transportation if we do y have a dog. Nelvine does drive at times but then he can’t film. So it’s tricky.

That price was for a timeshare villa. That’s if you’re interested in investing in a long-term for a vacation type of ownership. Stay tuned for part 2 of our actual villa tour we stayed in, so you can see what that looks like.
