Old dad here, the baby once dislocated my trick shoulder when he tried to spin out of a diaper change. I can't make a big enough recommendation for getting knocked up in highschool. All my friends who did that are empty nesters with functional musculoskeletal systems. I'm going to be attempting to discipline teenage boys that will likely outweigh me by a significant amount into my early 60s.
Start young, like NOW. Then it will be a breeze when they get older.

If you've ever been to a pee wee game it's hilarious. The kids in the outfield are laying on the ground staring at the sky, they have no idea what's going on with the game. 😂😂😂
My oldest son spent his time in the first game he was in practicing his pitching wind up on the mound. He had no ball and seemingly no clue that pitching isn't needed in t-ball, or that the other kids were actually playing t-ball around him, but I guess he was enjoying the game and he was outside, so I figured it was all good.
This has been a tough week for me. I am getting off way later than usual and instead of music, I put on dry bar. This has been better than any drink I would have taken this evening. Bless you Sir.

I wrote my own vows, and worked so hard to memorize them, that I forgot my name when I spoke them at my wedding. When I realized I messed up and said my wife's name instead of mine, I did it again. The third time I got it right! And we're still married 22 years later and actually love each other still!

In the 1950’s my aunt tied my cousin to an outdoor clothesline with a sliding leash when when was doing yard work. Sounds terrible, but this was after my cousin had been missing ( she was a quick one!) and she was found 2 blocks away at a store on a main road.

Dodge ball teaches good life lessons. Dont be an easy target. Be active and vigilant. Stand up for yourself and fight back (learn to catch the ball, which gets the person out who threw it). You can learn confidence and get respect thru these things if you're just not lazy!
And we teach that you apologize privately after the game if you hit someone in the head bc thats just decency. But dont make a show of it during the game.
For all his jokes about not judging parents all I can think of is the easy solution.
Don't have them, then you can't suck at it.
