We have both the Echium and the Wisteria growing in our garden. Both are magnificent plants. I was thinking we could have a couple more. This looks really simple. I'll give it a try😊👍
I also subscribed to your channel! 😁 You are also a plant lover! 💞 The front yard is beautifully decorated with beautiful plants. It's so wide, I'm so into your beautiful front yard! 😊
My sister and her husband have tried Wisteria unsuccessfully here in Sweden. Possible the climate doesn't work, but they are also less good at weeding. I will ask more about that. If one plant catches on this method is next, trying to propagate plants also in my own garden. Also here might be some protected corners
Our USDA Plant Hardiness (coldness tolerance) zone is 10, Sweden according to a map has some zone 8 but is mostly 7,6,5. Wisteria does not like colder than zone 5. So may I suggest leaving some leaves on top of the cutting, also to dip the bottom half of cutting in honey diluted in warm water as a striking powder substitute, and bringing the potted cutting inside and placing near the sunniest window, and covering it with the (upturned) bottom half of a 2 litre clear container such as a soft drink container to create a mini greenhouse effect? And use a hand sprayer bottle to keep just moist. Do the cutting at a time of year so it doesn’t have to immediately undergo a winter. Don’t let it dry out. It’s worth a try.
Wonderful Planting ^^
