- In this video, I show you how to drive a pickup truck. It is a complete driving tutorial and I pretty much go over all of the aspects of safely driving a pickup truck. I made this video to appeal to people who already know how to drive regular vehicles, but want to upgrade their skills to be able to drive a pickup truck as well. However, it will be useful for pretty much any driver that wants to learn the skill or improve their overall driving skills.

I watched this video even though I don't have a driver's license because since you said that practicing driving increases your skills & if I was to drive a pickup truck, I could practice my overall driving. Plus, I am going to show this to my mom because I think the reason she isn't letting me drive yet is while it's mostly my autism, it's she knows I don't know how to drive a pickup truck.

One important thing to note you and other pickup truck drivers all own the far left lane on the freeway and are legally allowed to tailgate anyone who is driving on it

Oh we know. Especially when yall are driving 65 in the left lane in a Honda civic in a 75. I'm riding your ass all day till you get over, then you can ride my ass 😏. Left lane is for passing my guy.

BRO, do you still drive the 98? How's it been?! I'm a new driver and I have a 1988 Chevy c1500 just a short bed single cab that's slightly lowered, and it's kinda hard to drive and likes to drift to the left and stuff (I gotta work on it I think) and when the wheel is straight it doesn't go straight and it really confuses me and I scare everyone who rides with me to death, any tips after a year or more of driving a older smaller truck like ours?
Some pickup trucks that you mentioned about the transmission at 0:56 will be somewhere else. If they’re buying a new pickup truck, the dealer will tell the new owner where everything is.

Lmao my dad has one and I have to use his truck to go to work tomorrow. I have my drivers license but have always driven a sedan. I’m afraid because it’s a nice truck so I just want to know and have tips before I use it.
