When I first got my maxim 9 just like this one. I was having some of the same issues you’ve been having. Sent it back to sico and they replaced the whole firearm portion of the gun. Since it’s ran flawless. Mine sits on my nightstand about 1500 rounds flawless. I run it on in the k config with 147gr hp’s.

mine just got approved! picking it up in a week when i get back from business. literally the best ergonomics of any handgun on the market. its an amazing gun.. now that NFA wait times are down to 3 months, this is a sweet carry gun in the short configuration. in the short configuration, its actually slightly smaller at the front end and much smaller at the back end than my FNX45 tactical/x300U which i appendix carry all the time in a tier1 axis slim.

Glad to hear the trigger is somewhat improved, but I wonder why no one has released an actual after market trigger. I feel you on the keymod slots. Silencer Co, IMO, should have moved forward with that integrated light rumor I read online back in 2016. I would even buy a proprietary low-profile light.

13:30 You should use subsonic ammo, i can see that it is not on that round you show us there. Subsonic ammo has heavier bullets and the recoil is less sharp (slower speed) so maybe that is why you are having reload issues.

That's got to be a heavy gun to conceal carry... Does the Kore belt hold it well? I keep seeing the joker from the first Batman with the revolver when you draw lol
It really isn't as heavy as it looks, because it has such a low-density frontend. The baffles are big, but empty. Most of the weight is in the backend. If that integral suppressor was solid metal, it would be like a dumbbell to aim and shoot.
what excites me about this one, is that you don't have to worry about blowing your eardrums out protecting yourself. if you get caught off guard , your not gonna put in ear plugs,
This gun looks like all those futuristic guns in movies and I like it a lot. I always wanted to have a gun for home protection and I think I’d get this as my first handgun after getting an AR-15 since that’s my favorite gun.

From what I have heard those three movies are out in Japan, they are all side cases from various times in the series. There is also the movie that came out some time ago in america and is on itunes and amazon, plus two seasons and the third season just started and is available of amazon prime for free.

Interesting. I have an original, and I haven't had a single hiccup. The only thing I have a problem with is cleaning it, any tips? That is a great saying at the end! It is very true.
Cleaning is pretty easy actually, just remove the slide and you have access to almost everything inside, then if you want to clean the front end you will have to remove the suppressor
I'm sorry, what I ment was: is there a better way to remove the gunpowder from the baffles and rods. I always end up with hardened residue on the rods which makes it difficult for the baffles to slide off. So far I've used Hoppes 9 and a brass brush. Thanks for the reply!
Have to ask. Do you like shooting the Max 9 over a suppressed Glock or would you still pick a 19 with a can over it? Also, can we get more no steel shots with suppressed gun. Like to hear the quiet without the ping.
Glocks typically don’t suppress well so I’d pick this over a glock + can but outside of that I would probably take a normal pistol that suppresses well with a can like the Fn 509 tactical or CZ P07 tactical over this
