Also I don't know if you've heard about it yet but Bahzad and his wife Risa are also starting up a knitwear company called Wonder Looper which is gonna produce high quality t-shirts and sweatshirts, might be something that you'd be interested in checking out.
They are a great brand for sure, lots of interesting ideas and concepts that relate to the materials. I got into them recently and like you the “weird guy” fits me best, although for the waist it’s a bit tricky, I’m 6’3 and about 170lbs and 31 fits comfortable for me
I want want a pair of these but will wait till spring when they introduce a 2% stretch version. I think that will help make them more wearable. A gateway into heavyweight denim.
Just ordered my first pair of Naked & Famous fire bird selvedge jeans. Cant wait to see how these jeans hold up to my Levi's that I have all ways been wearing.

Hey mate, I will this fall/winter. Not much has happened on them as I think i got these coming into spring, so they didn't get too much wear. Will be wearing them into the ground this winter. They are fast faders though by the looks of it.
I am new to selvedge denim and have bought 2 pairs of jeans and 3 pairs of canvas pants from them. The cool thing about naked and famous is that they do so many different things that they will come out with things you like.
Hey mate can you tell me how they are fading? I am thinking of picking up a pair but I am really curious about their ability to fade into sharp creases? Also, do you think they would be more comfortable with 2% stretch? Thank you in advance.

@@ronaldbrashears9866 well, just like every single jean or denim company on the planet offers a straight fit and relaxed fits, those are the most normal jean “fit” which naked and famous does not seem to offer in there oddly named sizes. Other companies also offer skinny fit, slim fit, some jeans with a taper, some jeans without a taper, some jeans with a boot cut. Again, naked and famous seems to offer only slim fit tapered jeans, skinny jeans, they skip boot cut and go straight to bellbottoms, and then they skipped, relax, and just go to clown size

I think it’s oddly coincidental that I also recently purchased my first pair of Naked and Famous (the raw cotton canvas in Brown and Olive) - it seems like my purchases somehow always coincide with the content you’re putting out 🤔. Also, I recently got in a pair of Umeda Selvage from Taylor Stitch, and they have a very similar look to these by N&F. Id be interested to know what your thoughts are on these if you have a chance to check em out online - super impressed with the material so far and doesn’t look like anything else I have in the wardrobe. Cheers Chris, apologies for the late reply. Good minds think alike hah ;) I've not looked in the the TS stuff as yet but see a lot of people review them so maybe on the horizon for sure. Don't think they are in stores here though could be wrong.
Really good actually. Not hemmed them yet so they are still a little long and my turn ups are ridiculous hah. But it's still holding the smooth feel to it. Probably until I soak or wash it. It is starting to show lighter hues in the creases now too.

But then you wear them in winter, and your legs feel warm and Iron clad. Heavy denim is awesome, and it ages beautifully.
