    Why does everyone that truly loves Star Wars can write such a compelling scenarios yet a multimillion dollar company that literally can hire anyone of those doesn't...

    • @MrYFM2
      @MrYFM2 3 года назад +57

      I'm pretty sure creative people do apply for the job, they just don't get hired, or if they do, it's some lower end position that they have no interest in. Or, the really creative people have a massive distaste for Disney and big corporations that they prefer their ideas to stay with them. Disney will also hire only those that they can buy, bully and control too. I'm sure there are an ample of other reasons why disney lacks creative writers, but those are some that I can come up with atm.

      He was willing to sacrifice everything. That's one of the points of his character and his fatal flaws. He would have killed half the galaxy if it meant saving Padme. I am a MASSIVE Ahsoka fan, she is MY FAVORITE character, my BIAS if you will.
    But I think people tend to give her too much credit, simply because of who her master was. Yes, she survived a duel against Darth Vader, but let's be real. If Ezra hadn't pulled her back, she would have been decapitated. She was never WINNING that fight-she was just barely holding her own. If she had stayed, she would've been UNDOUBTEDLY slaughtered along with the other Jedi. And not even counting that in the picture, but Ahsoka knew Anakin better than anyone-even maybe himself. She wouldn't be able to change his mind. Once Anakin's mind was made up, there's no convincing the Skywalker otherwise. Darth Vader that's another story though heehee.

      His love for Padme was indeed very selfish. He loved Ahsoka selfishly too. But up until he helped kill Mace, he had options. He could have still chosen differently before that moment. After that? No. What was there left for him? He already thought Padme was going to die, and he had just watched one of the Masters of his order act in a way totally contrary to everything he had been taught.
      I think had Ahsoka caught him before he went to confront Palpatine, there’s a much better chance he doesn’t turn.

    • @TutosViolet
      @TutosViolet 3 года назад +1

      Agree. Ahsoka couldn't save Anakin unless she offered a way to save padme which she didn't have. He would still turned to the dark side.

      @@melfree2545 even if she got to him before Mace was killed she wouldn't be able to save him unless she had a way to save padme which she didn't. He would still go to Palpatine because he was the only one who knew a way and he was too obsessed with padme to let her die.

    You mentioned polls for MCU characters.
    I love this idea. We’re slowly running out of Star Wars characters to do the poll, and I wanna see how Marvel characters do against Star Wars.
    Also, why limit to two cinematic universes? We could do LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, DC, etc.

You are the one person who I feel actually says things for what they really are without getting your emotions and opinions involved. I actually have a playlist called ‘Facts’ where I put videos that are, as the name says, total facts. The majority of the videos in that playlist are yours and that’s why I’m subscribed to you. But this video changed my mind. At the beginning I was considering clicking off and only watching certain videos of yours from now on but something inside me just said to stay for a minute. My goodness Thor.
    Now, Ahsoka is my favourite character in Star Wars so I am a bit biased and do tend to get quite emotional anyway when she is on screen or when I hear her voice. But you just put some tears in my eyes with that story, despite it would mean Ahsoka dies and I didn't get to see any of it or hear her voice. But you told the story very well, I pictured it nicely in my head with the aid of the pictures on screen, it felt like I was there. And I almost started crying. Wow.
    I don't know if I want to thank you for that :D but certainly that was a good story idea, executed very well in you telling it the way you did. I'm impressed! I mean..... Impressive, most impressive.

    That was a great ending for both Anakin and Ahsoka, it was very reminiscent of the moment in Galaxy Quest, where Dr Lazarus finally says "By Grapthar's Hammer" to the crew member who always looked up to him. I'm very curious what the original trilogy would be like? If The Mandalorian shows anything, the empire has a backup plan... What would happen to Leia and Luke, the Death Star, and possibly Grogu, as he'd be alive at this time too.
