I'm not entirely sure if Qui gon's death would be the same. With him knowing and willingly accept his end, there could've been a good chance that his body would dissapate into dust, leaving his robes behind.
I love watching all these "What If..." scenarios, not just yours but others as well! In my spare time lately, i have been kind of role playing a "what if..." of my own, and its been an epic undertaking lol I am currently in the middle of a "What if Captain Jean Luc Picard and the enterprise crew somehow were transported to the star wars universe and they find and save Anakin and Shmee from slavery without really knowing who they are, thus coming into posession of the young boy and becoming major players in the star wars story without knowing anything about whats happening." 😂

My critique, althought the story itself isnt bad and rewrites anakins tradgedies throughout his life the psychological torture he faced growing up in the jedi temple being told he was to never allow attatchments and only knowing Qui gon for a few days I am not sure that he would immediately reveal his sins to the jedi council so quickly. They may have seen it being in the world between worlds or eventually after talking to Qui he would feel he is the one to turn to. But also revenge isnt something Anakin has dealt with well and none of this story really fits with the (Jedi way) not that thats bad but in the end he used anger and frustration to unlock the world between and then is told by Qui gon that he can have (All he ever wanted and more) If he just stays on the light side. I personally find it hard to believe that he would say that. At least he may verbalize some other form of advise that could lead to Anakin realizing it. But Qui seemed to be a bit of a yes man in this story.
