Thank you! My auto sensing light would not stop blinking and none of the "recalibration" videos worked for me. I unplugged it for several minutes and turned it to "deep water" while unplugged. Plugged it back in and was able to get it working perfectly. Thank you for this video, the auto sensing makes me crazy!
I did choose thoes mode you mentioned but the water is barely on top of clothes. I like the water be at least 7 inches over the cloths. I appreciate if you tell me what should I do. Tks
Can you help me? I don't have the funds to get a repairman right now. I need to eat..ha. My Roper was working fine, but the washer was moved and now all I hear is the same sound like when a garbage disposal gets jammed....a humming sound. So I know it is getting electrical. My Roper is probably about 2007 model. It could be earlier as I bought it new in 2007. It does not have any fancy control panel. Does this Roper have a reset button? Anything you can have me try is appreciated.
I have a roper washer and dryer that I bought brand new in 2005. I can’t believe they both are still running smoothly with no issues. There’s no way they can possibly last that much longer.
@@SWMOWoodsman my grandparents have an LG from 2007 that has had the door seal changed at 10 years due to mold and the fill valves changed at 15 years. Still chugging along with the matching dryer and that has had NO repairs in its time.
I just moved into a new apartment with the same washing machine and the part in the center is so noisy during the agitation cycle its a constant banging/slapping sound I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts
Right as it's getting ready to do it, the Centre making that knocking sound ,you have to tilt the machine up,off its front legs,maybe? it's out of balance inside,for some reason, during the spin cycle,that machine likes to be tilted back,about 2 inches off the ground, crazy! I don't like this machine, I like the old manual Style, just open the lid, anytime.
I have this washing machine and for some reason when I wash towels and rags it's leaving lint on them that wasn't there before even a very small load I mean a ton of lint do you know why is it a setting?
I just got a roper washer and dryer from my neighbor and I've been trying to figure it out. I don't know what he's talking about that once it locks it locks?? There's a PAUSE button which allows you to unlock the lid Of course you have to be on top of The washing cycle Wait for it to drain the first time then as it's filling up for rinse, you hit the pause button. It will unlock, you add your fabric softener. Close the lid and hit it again. You have to manually do it I think That's what I'm doing LOL Right now I'm trying to figure out how to clean the filter in this thing. That's why I'm on RUclips. And if you press the cancel button, you have to hold it down for about 10-20 seconds and it RESETS the whole thing. That's how you "change your mind".
Hi im really having a problem trying to figure out the fabric softener dispenser. I feel like mine is missing a piece. Can u do a demo. Mine has the round lid but not a real cup to put the softner. Where does the actuall fabric softener go?
Mine too I don't think it has the fabric dispenser. The downy ball seems to come out not open half the time and If you are able to open the circular part on the agitator. I am not able to do that. Feel kinda dumb about this, am I missing something simple?
The machine is pure junk. I have spent so much money on repairs. I am about to yank it and put it on the curb. Better off hand washing your clothes than using this POS

hey mike my roper is leaking from the bottom...it does not leak during the rinse/drain cycle...why would that be?

Roper washers were the last of the heavy duty built washers. The new LG and Samsungs break within 4 years. My Roper is 10 years old and still kicking
Two years w/o a problem with mine.
@@thevally6127 LG has proven itself for its front loaders that it can last over 15 YEARS without issues.

what does it mean when the last three lights are flashing and it will not start anyone know??

I dont think this washer has that feature. Fabric softener is bad for you, the machine, and your clothes anyways
