Project Fix the 60 - Episode 7 - Replacement Mirror Options

In this video I run through the mirror types that came standard on the 60 Series in Australia.
I also show a newer option that works great - the 76 Series mirror.
For those of you that want to get yourself a set of these mirrors, the part numbers are here;
Driver: 87940-60142
Passenger: 87940-60372
These are the part numbers fore the genuine mirrors and can be bough on Ebay.

Thanks heaps for taking the time to make this! I'm about to start the epic journey of tracking down a drivers side electric mirror. If I don't find one in a few months I'll be doing the 76 mod.

I own a set of the original electric mirrors in perfect condition they came with a 60 that also has electric windows and 0 rust still the factory paint job

Hey mate. Would you have any idea whether you can buy only the gasket/mounting block for the 76 series mirrors anywhere?

Can anyone tell me if the glass can be removed and replaced on the bigger upright 60 mirrors . If so how ?

Does the top part of the 76 mirror fit to the mounting bracket of the 60 series mirror?
