    Got this stuff for Christmas and used it on my 17 year old 4Runners headlights and it brought them back to life. Could not recommend more.

    Great video Brian. I've been looking into this but you're the first I seen to have the video on it. Btw How do you like the G8 overall?

    Nicccee. Like you said griots test products vigorously 💪. I need to get my hands on some even with just an orange pad removed 80% of the defects

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 месяцев назад +2

      Yes they work tirelessly when testing products so they know they will do what they are suppose to do. I was impressed using just a correction pad.

    Loved the video but the headlights prior to tbe application of Griots Garage All In One look much clearer & shinier.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks but I don’t understand. The part of the headlight we cleaned with it was yellowing and oxidized. It looks way better after doing it.

    • @Abc-tu9ry
      @Abc-tu9ry 9 месяцев назад

      May be it's just the video clarity that is not too convincing compared to actually being there & witness it. The left headlight is way much clearer than tbe right before work being done on it.
      Keep up the good work and keep posting them videos.
      Cheers.

    I gotta get me some of that. I have the G8 also. Do you think the 2 inch is better than the 3 inch for lights? I know there's a lot of variables. Just curious about pad performance.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  8 месяцев назад

      You will love it. 2 inch is more controllable on the lights and your not working a big area. 2inch will also spin faster which means faster defect removal. Hope this helps

    This is great for a clean n buff but it is in no way a headlight restoration. The haze will just come back in a few months unless a proper restoration is done.

  • @btbd2785
    @btbd2785 2 месяца назад

    since this has a protectant in there I am wondering if you can still spray a headlight clear coat on there , which is really the right way to protect your lenses after they have been cleaned up?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  2 месяца назад

      @@btbd2785 My guess is it wouldn’t bond to it since this has protection on it.

    The lights turned out great. What do you recommend to use on a new vehicle to protect the lights?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing

    I wonder how this would work on a instrument cluster. I've kinda struggled with those.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 месяцев назад +1

      I have not tried it but Griots says you can use it on clusters. If it’s anything like the lights then the instrument cluster would look brand new.

    Very cool! Griots makes some great products. Question: Does anyone know how to get the oxidation off the inside of the headlight housing?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 месяцев назад +4

      Yeah Griots never lets you down that’s for sure. Only way to get it off the inside would be remove the lens completely but that’s a real pain to get sealed back up without it leaking.

    If you really want to try the Griots Garage Plastic All-in-One let me bring my wife's car to ya. You would think her husband would do something about it. NOPE he's a busy man got naps to take. HOOF OUT!!!!

  • @pathfindercod4638
    @pathfindercod4638 9 месяцев назад

    This would probably work on the black shiny plastic b pillar on the driver/passenger window? My wife's black plastic that's on the backside of her driver door and front of rear passenger door is very dull looking instead of shiny and black. Just like that black area above that taillight you did.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes it will work on the plastic pillar pieces. I haven’t tried it but Griots says it will on the back of the bottle.
