Anyone have issues Dec 22 with YT kids not working head over to APK mirror download YT kids version 6.16.3 older version 2021 and it worked on my kids kindle 👍

Do we still need to download the apks that is mentioned in this video for the YT Kids 6.16.3 apk to work?
After going through 4 links that I blindly trust. Then I avoided literally 20 ads next to the download button all claiming to be the download button. I can confirm this works. Thank you. this was a good tutorial.

@@R4GEVipeRzZ installing a Play store on the device will make the device similar to other android phones, and you can't get the nearby share. Besides The fact that google apps can be installed on any Huawei phones with the help of lighthouse, I sincerely don't want any google apps on my Huawei Nova Y61, even though I can easily install it on emui 12. I wanted it to look like a different phone and I would do the same with the fire tablet

Thank you! I had no idea what I was doing, but I followed your directions and everything google works great now, for my son's Fire HD 8 Plus 10th Gen. Now he has no excuse to not complete his schoolwork. And that made at least one of us happy. 👍

I was shopping like-new / used / reconditioned Android tablets on eBay just to get Google features.
I know that my Fire HD 8+ is recognized as Android 9 in a cleaner app that I have, so I loaded and installed the 4 APKs with your guidance. This installation saved me hundreds.
My 2 year old Fire was ok as a cheap novelty gadget... now it's the real thing, fully sync'd to my Google acct. and apps run flawlessly. Totally new machine! Thanks! 👍

I have had my tablet since 2019 and never been able to install any apps from the amazon store now I finally have apps after nearly 4 years finally can watch Netflix thank you so much for the helpful content.

OMG!!!! It took forever because I was watching old videos and I didn't what was wrong because when I tried to download the Play Store, it showed an error. But now, I figured it out because I had the wrong version!! This video helped so much!! Thank you!!!

Thank you for this. Even as a senior citizen I was able to add play store to my Kindle Fire 11. I have very little experience with downloads, but it was enough to fix the mistakes I made downloading one of the APK.

I did find that the order mattered for how I installed each apk. I did one way and the app showed up but didn’t work (flashed them died).
I tried installing the apks again in a different order and it worked. Could just be me, but if anyone is having issues try that.

What ordered worked?
@@nomadred5847 had the same problem, try to uninstall the Google service and the Google app from apps management then make sure that everything is like In the video especially the installation order of application need to be in order from first to the last like in description.
I installed the way the author did it, just pausing the video to see which order he installed the app pieces. I cannot express how exquisite this video worked. My only suggestion is to give examples of a google search term used to find one's self on the 4 correct websites. I found myself doing a good deal of manual image recognition until I found the correct websites.
I would really like to try this myself, bit I'm worried about the potential of viruses. I'm 24 so I know not to click on ads and stuff, but I would like to at least play a game or two that isn't on my kindle. Other than that, I just really use it for reading.
I really hate playing mobile music games on my phone, so I would like to use my tablet instead.

@Chris Neftic Follow it step by step, pausing the video while you perform each step. It was crystal clear in my opinion and worked exactly as described.
@@chrisneftic I felt the same way. It's all there, but I had to pause and reverse many times.
This was not clear at all he just open the browser and 4 taps were already open with no explanation how these tabs miraculously appeared. That literally the most important thing is how to get tabs to download

Cheers for this, 2023 and it still works, I messed up first time round and had to factory reset my device, but second time round, worked a charm, now to get them emulators running 😁

Thank you. Once I got the correct download in the links it worked well. Trying to find the exact thing to download in that sea of pop ups and ads was a nightmare. You would think they could monetize that page without resorting to all that trickery and confusion. THANK YOU again.
Ye it can be a bit difficult with the ads, it would be nice if they could reduce them a little.

What do you do when it says there was a problem parsing the package
I had the same issue, resolved it by downloading an older apk for the 4th step. The one which worked for me was November 10th 2023

Everything worked fine except for the Google Services Framework when I try to install it it says “ there was a problem parsing the package”

Use a different download. I did the second link and it worked for me
You downloaded a version that's not compatible with either your device's chipset or OS. You need to try another version.

Great to hear, glad it worked for you. For future reference Parse errors usually occur when the APK doesn't support the API version of Android that you’re trying to install it on.

@@JohnnieBeeO1 It's not guaranteed but if you getting a parse issue then it likely due to the APK no supporting your devices Android version. First thing I would suggest is to make sure downloading the correct APK for your exact model and generation.
If this is correct then you're going to need to find out what Fire OS version your tablet is currently running. To do that if you go in to settings and find the system updates option, it should be in the device options section of the settings. Once you have gone in to system updates it should then tell you what Fire OS version you are running. For example, it could be Fire OS 7.3.2.8 . Now you then need to Google your Fire OS version to find out what Android version it is based on. Then once you have the Android version you then need to download the versions of the APK that support that Android version.
I haven’t gotten it yet, but i’m saving this video for when I do get one for apps like RUclips, Discord, TikTok, etc.

Hi Mara, I just tried installing Canva through the Play Store on my Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus and it installed successfully. I've not used the Canva app before so I wasn't able to test it extensively. However, I was able to have a play about with it and the app seem to work well.
According to Canva's support documentation their app is supported down to Android version 6. This means that Canva app should be able to run on all the Amazon Fire tables from 2018 onwards.

Is there a way to share apps downloaded from the Play Store with a Kids profile (ie Share Content)? I want to share the YT Kids app with my kids profile.
I've not setup parental controls before so I don't really have any personal experience to speak from, however, I have noticed that Amazon appears to purposes lock down functionality so that is only works with apps that are installed from there app store. I'd maybe suggest using Google Family Link as that should work with apps from the Play Store.

Worked a treat.. Only trouble I found is you can't add it to my kids profile.. Don't get the option in add content.. Not unless I'm missing something here
Can you help with signing in process? Everything worked fine at first until I started getting a sign in again notification, and then when I open it it tries to update Google Play services and I get an error message. Can download apps but cannot actually sign into them or in Play store.

Same tablet and generation as yours. When I remove the SD card I get a warning: SD Card Alert To use your Fire tablet, you must reinsert the missing SD card or choose to forget the SD card... with a button that says, "FORGET SD CARD." I don't see any way to otherwise safely unmount the card. Any ideas?
I followed all the steps carefully right up to the end. But 2 of them I got an error message "There was a problem parsing the package". I have the Play Store icon on my home page now. But when I tap on it, it blinks but I can not get into it. I'm stuck
OK, very excited to finally get Play Store installed. But I've tried to load 3 different apps and I get spin spin spin for a long time with no loading. Any clue?
@@vernfrier1771 I had the app on home screen as well then caught that I downloaded the 4 files incorrectly so the app would not open. Uninstall the app and reinstall the 4 files in the order the instruction shows

Everything worked fine but it won't open RUclips kids because its says it needs Google play services, RUclips works fine, chrome installed just fine and when I go into the play store Google play services is up to date and only gives me the option to uninstall. Any help would be appreciated 😀
