I love this fragrance. The beautiful and bright citrus mint with the nice mid of rum and a light cumin giving it a slight edge but then it goes down to a base of oakmoss that kinda reminds me of Hacivat (how it changes on my skin). The performance is great too cause it projects lightly and lasts so long. It’s just so good and it’s my niche signature fragrance.

Tremendous coupling of two powerhouse fragrance reviewers. The enthusiasm and excitement for this fragrance really shines through from both of you. For me George made a very salient point in regards to feeling somewhat intimidated by Rojo’s creations. I’m assuming the name is a homage to Burlington Arcade where the Roja Dove flagship store resides. Which happens to be round the corner from where I work so maybe I should take a trip down there and get past the feeling of not being quite the demographic for this beautiful piece of art.

Got a sample of it now, after 10minutes you really have to dig your nose in to smell anything not a great performer at all. 21 conduit street beats it easily and at a much better value.
I don't know why, I can't put my finger on it, 🤔but, when George says 'they know who I am' and comments 'what a fragrance it is' he totally reminded me of Leslie Philips!!! You know the guy from all the carry on films 😊😊. Its probably just me but his attire, tone and the way he slightly cocked his head. I say.. Ding Dong🤣
Imagine Enigma and Elysium in a bottle. This. Is. It. I love love love Burlington 1819... A clean cut comparison to another house would be PDM Layon and PDM Herod = PDM Carlisle sort of effect. But Burlington 1819 blends so well and LOVE it.
We’ll have to try the 7 Course Michelin Starred Restaurant fodder next time we hit Edinburgh on our journey north for Fort Bill 🤣😂. Wouldn’t mind a sample of this to get my nose around it!
Recently bought a 7.5ml discovery bottle of Burlington from Roja website. Was excited to try it however when applied to my skin, it’s really, really faint on me. Like, I can barely smell anything at all after 20 seconds….I must be nose blind to it or something

You can always try to get cheaper decants of expensive frags, if you don't want to spend more money. It's unlikely that you couldn't afford even a decant.

I've challenged myself not to by anymore cheapies and just hold back to get something of much higher quality,this could be the one.
tested this the other day and the opening was superb but not other worldly but the dry down smelled just like walking into a florist and just wow

I was going to buy Elysium, but the bottles 🍼 are to small and over priced. Not worth buying. There's better brands out there for less the price.
