Great report, Niki. The Edelweiss livery is a nice change from the usual Swiss flag. Beautiful view of the Alps, lights and sky on descent into ZRH.

I flew edelweiss on Wednesday from Antalya to Zurich and the service was great
We got food and where served a full meal of Swiss pasta and bread sided with some delicious Swiss cake
The flight attendants were very helpful and friendly and would definitely fly with them again :)

Turkish Airlines ZRH-IST-AYT is by far the best option
You received food in economy class without paying for any extra? I’m asking because in September I will take the same flight with Edelweiss, ZRH-AYT and returning, and it would be nice to know if food is already provided.
I flew with edelweiss last November and they also didn’t turn off the light during the takeoff even though it was dark outside. Nice video btw :)
Oh, really? That's so strange because regulations and procedures should be all the same among airlines in terms of cabin safety. I really don't get why Edelweiss does not turn off the cabin lights when it's dark outside. Anyway, thanks for your comment and hope that someone could explain the reasons.
