Good, albeit short comparison but I liked the style of it back to back. I owned a Strat P1 and a Silver Sky SE - I much prefer the SS and felt it sounded much better than my PS1. In this comparison they sounded extremely similar to me.

Thanks for the comparison guys. What if you were to take it up a notch. PRS USA Core Silver Sky vs Fender AVRI II 1961 Strat perhaps ? That's one I'd be very interested to see, they're both on my shortlist for a vintage sounding strat.

The difference is that the fender is out of tune

I've had plenty of Fenders...CV, MIM, MIA, Pro 2, even a couple Elites....just got my lefty PRS SS SE....WOW...voicing is exceptional as countless reviews have been saying these last 2 years!! Even MIA Fender pups are so-so...I replace them as a result....Fralins or other boutique/handwound brand.

Prs is not a fender it's just a copy, so no comparison really, fender strat wins hands down, resale, cache, collecting value, no competition
