BKXC Are you postponing the rest of the trip? Or are you at least able to travel home? I’ve been quarantined by the UK gvmt and as of today I will be working from home for at least 3 weeks. Pretty grim situation.
Stoked you enjoyed SoFla, was a ton of fun to show you around! Really appreciate you got to tell a sliver of my story and Venezuela. Been loving the 50 state shred, keep it up. Hope the current situation is just a speed bump and that the 50 states remain doable once the craziness subsides.
Amazing what Florida trail builders can do with such a flat landscape. Tons of work involved. Looks like a rollercoaster ride. Cool stuff. Thanks for taking us. Keep rocking your 50 state tour.
Thanks for stopping by our local trails. 80 degrees? It hasn't even gotten hot yet. You need to get a ceiling vent for that van. One with a fan in it that comes on when it gets too hot and helps cool you down.
I just started watching your video series and it has been inspiring. Thanks. I just retired from the Coast Guard last week and bought a new mountain bike, cant wait to hit the trails and spending more time outside. Thanks for the motivation .

Perfect riding season here in south florida is from November through April. Thats when the cold air comes and the stickiness leave. Glad you enjoyed it here.
Great to see you enjoyed our local trails at Markham and Virginia Key! Tell Seth the "tall guy" from his last BBQ in Ft Lauderdale said hi! 👋😁🌴☀️ Stay safe and keep shredding!!!
It was bittersweet watching your video of Markham Park come out the day the park was closed due to the virus. Glad I was able to get one last ride in the day before it was closed. I was stoked to see you hitting the jumps and clearing them. Cool to see your progression getting more comfortable in the air.
That “handrail” towards the end was a skinny. Crazy if you ask me. Loved to see you shred my local trails can’t wait to get out of Florida and do some riding elsewhere. Your channel is showing off all the hot spots 😜
I was not born in America. But I can say: It’s the best country on earth 👍 Enjoy the Freedom for 45 years so far😊 I’m so privileged to live in America. God Bless USA🇺🇸. Now, I need to convert to 1x12, need that 50t sprocket for my age 😅
I love that you featured BlindstuffMTB! His video quality is top notch and he deserves more subscribers. Hopefully he gets a well deserved boost! What a story too. Great video! Looking forward to the Berm Peak madness.
Great edit, history and riding in our local SoFlo trails, Brian. @BlindStuffMTB delivers on the knowledge of our trails and is a great guide. Hope you get to ride more of our Florida trails quickly on your way back north before the epedemic C-19 lockdowns occuring down south begins creeping up in the state. Btw you've improved on your skinnies! Nice work, dude! The "handrail" is the skinny that Lenosky did clean during the VK grand opening of the new extension in Highway To Hell.
Riding videos are the best distraction for what's going on in the world right now! Bikes and Beers with buddies should never be taken for granted again! :)
I was there exactly a year ago shredding the red dirt jumps! it really was worth bringing my bike over to my grampa's condo in Fort Lauderdale! loads of fun!
Awesome video! Thanks for visiting and showing off South Florida to the world of MTB. I knew about Markham Park but not Virginia Key and based on your video I’m going to have to drive down there sometimes soon. Keep those good videos coming man. I always look forward to your next destination. The 50 states shred is a great idea!
Hey Brian, Venezuelan here haha, really nice to see you riding with a fellow countryman, It's true what he said about the whole situation in Venezuela. and it was really cool to see you riding in S.F. I Lived in Fort Lauderdale in the 2000's.. Hope you Seth and Alex are having an awesome time on Bern Peak.
In S.Fla it's always the norm to finish like "Wet Dog". You should pass by in July. The mosquitoes will carry you away if you stop for water in the trails.
I'm a commercial crab fisherman and usually spend winters in sw fla working and I've been debating getting a new bike. The last time I rode I was living in ct and had a santa cruz heckler. You've totally inspired me to start riding again so thank you for that. I think I'm gonna try and get an ibis ripley or ripmo. My gf isn't too thrilled lol
I had no idea those ridges were from Mining, pretty cool! It’s amazing how creative people get when there isn’t much elevation to work with. I had no idea those Virginia Key trails looked like that.
@Trump TheTerrorist About 18,000 dead worldwide for the whole 2009-2010 pandemic. No comparison. This is orders of magnitude worse. Stop posting nonsense.
Hey Bryan next time you come down to Florida you have to check out Mount Dora and the Candyland Pump track they are both worth your time and we should totally ride together! Another great ride at a great trail.
My suggestion, next time when you are that far south (Florida) make effort and visit keys, it is only 140+ miles to the Key West. Though, no MB parks and trails.
Love your vids so much!! You inspired me to believe that climbing can actually be fun! And you inspired me to compete in my first race this year with your bc bike race vids!
Sorry that you might not be able to hit every state in this year. But, you still could hit all of east coast when this quarantine is over...hopefully. Come up to West Virginia, we have epic trails all over our state. Snowshoe resort is one of the most challenging parks on the east coast. Hope you stay well and keep safe.
@@agithandoyo7732 thank you! We have our issues like every metropolis in the world but we have so many wonders here you wouldn't believe. You are welcome to come and visit any time.

This virus is definitely scary everyone! Hopefully within the next several months we can have some sort of regular life again. Stay healthy, safe, and enjoy your houses for a while
I live in sw Florida and we have no good MTB trails unless you want to ride some greens trails with no elevation or features(there are so features but not many) We have some good MX tracks and some good hare scramble races.

Brian, Geosmin and Methyl-Isoborneol (MIB) are naturally occurring compounds that have a very strong, earthy taste and odor. They are both fairly safe but just no real pleasant to experience. You are better served to use cold drinking water and room temperature water for cleaning.
Recorded on March 4th

The weird water taste might just be FL water. My memory of it is it’s kind of brackish and sulfury.
