Good morning from Illinois! I came across your recipe because I have five portobello mushroom caps and I was wondering what to do with them! You came across your recipe and I want to let you know that this was flavorful!! I just want to thank you so much for bringing us a simple recipe!! The only thing I added to ours was diced sweet potatoes that I sauteed and small diced zucchini and to give it a little kick I diced up some jalapenos and serrano chiles! This really gave them a kick!! 😋😋 And because I'm a cheeseaholic I doubled the cheese and the garlic!!😁😁
In Dallas TX, grocery stores sell colossal sized mushrooms as big as a salad plate. I will get 2 of those and make this recipe with vegan cheese. It's so good.
You're welcome Joe. I still have two im yet to upload lol. Just slowly releasing them. Thats what happens when someone gives you a big box of free mushrooms hahaha
Capsicum is the name of the plants that belong to the genus Capsicum while the C. annuum varieties includes the common name "bell pepper", along with the other capsicum peppers, like the common name "jalapeno". Capsaicin is the active component of chili peppers that give them the heat. Bell pepper is more commonly used to describe the larger peppers that have little to no heat with them, rather than something like a jalapeno, even tho both can and are capsicums. Zucchini on the other hand, is just the American English name for the British English's Courgette. South African english speakers commonly use the term 'baby marrow'. I've often made something like this but never put garlic in it even though I'm a huge fan of garlic mushroom (button) stirfry. Thanks for the video, looks really tastey.
I have heard that before and it can get confusing when talking about them, but its just how it is in different countries. Here is Australia they are labeled and called capsicums :)
Real parmesan actually isn't vegetarian. It's made with rennet- that's from the cow/goat's stomach. You can switch the cheese though, as mentioned! I'm going to try this out with vegan cheese. Looks yummy :)
Sorry about that, I always only keep it to about 20 seconds but with the way youtube works in showing subscribers when new videos go live we have to share our social media so people can see the updates there :)
That's not a vegetarian meal. REAL vegetarian food does not involve any animal "products". All vegans are vegetarians (because vegetarianism is a diet based only in the plant kingdom); but not all vegetarians are vegan (because veganism is about ethics, justice, it's a social and political movement for Animal Rights)... And if they consume dairy, eggs, honey, they're not vegetarian.

love your accent and your vids, but throwing the portobello scrapes in the bin / compost - big no no.
that social networking bar is really distracting
