I learned driving recently and then bought my VW Polo. I am amazed how well I can do tight precision parking with it. Just recently I was struggling with some of the Maruti cars but with polo I am able to perfectly do the tight parking. I think the polo has a really good control.

Polo Allstar vs Highline - what's different
Allstar is nothing but a limited edition Highline with few extra features. If the price of the Allstar is upto 40000 more than Highline, get the Allstar. If it costs over 40000 more get the Highline itself...

Hi Dilip, liked your video as you are providing more informations and explaining it naturally. I would like to ask few more advices personally as I bought a brand new limited cup edition Polo which is not having rear view camera and not having a good display in dashboard. When I suggested them to fix the same in high line and they where saying that it is very costly instead they are fixing it as a separate display on glass which I felt an unprofessional method. Which display system would you prefer and if any cost effectiveness is there I would like to fix a small compatible subwoofer under the co drivers seat without affecting the storage spaces. Could you please advice. Once again thank you so much for the informations and keep doing these kind of videos. Would like to have a telephonic conversation please do let me know where I could get your number or where I can share my number.

Hi Dilip!! Great video as always… I have a question for you.. I just bought a polo Highline plus MT and while driving on an open road with rear window open at speeds as low as 50 kmph, the car vibrates and you can feel the vibration in the ears as if an airplane is taking off.. when the windows are closed there is no vibration.. is this expected?
No problem, it's normal if open only rear window opened

Hi Dilip, do you have any idea which company petrol (like: hp, bp, indian oil) we should use for our polo.
+Nutan Patro 1. You can use any unleaded petrol. Please look which is the most popular petrol bunk that supplies unadulterated petrol in accurate quantity in your area.
2. Also, please don't waste money in super petrol / premium petrol etc.,
Use only normal unleaded petrol
3. For my car I use normal unleaded petrol from the Shell Petrol bunk.

I maintained speed between 90 to 100 kmpl as you mentioned in previous vedio...I got 17.4 as mileage

+uday bhaskar that's Good. Also try to use Cruise control while driving in the highway. If u set a speed of 90 kmph, it would be easy. Cruise control will improve your mileage as the car accelerates and decelerates so smoothly to maintain the set speed.

Hello sir.. I have polo... Butt in meter showing spring type symbols... What is that?
Its glow plug sign shown duevto different reasons.. you have to OBD diagnos then only it will show the fault reason with fault code.. the mechanic will then fix the problem.. ususlly its due go low fuel pressure or bad glow plugs

+Faisal Moothat diesel is definitely a better choice as it has better performance and a better fuel efficiency. Also, diesel engine is much refined than the three cylinder petrol engine. The cost of Maintenance between the Petrol & diesel is not that significant. The general maintenance cost of Diesel is only marginally higher than petrol.

In VW Polo, the reserve fuel capacity is 5 litres.

You are welcome. Yes, the number of Km that can be run with the reserve fuel is accurate. It adjusts according to the current mileage of the car.

Buying a preowned car is slways good decision but you must not hurry in finalzing a car.. well mentained cars available buy directly from the owner of the car.. discuss with him about the history take advise of a mechanic and ofcouse you must drive the car for atleast 10 kmts

Car uses the 16 inch alloys for the regular tyres and the spare wheel is 14 inch
In case emergencies switching to a spare wheel how long can we drive with 3 tyres being 16 inch and one spare wheel being 14 inch

1. Get the VW Polo if you want very good build quality & an excellent steering that gives accurate feedback
2. Get the Baleno if you want best in class cabin space and cheap maintenance
3. If you like i20 please wait as the new model is expected to be released soon

I have a GT TSI model and my mileage is only around 10-11.

Placing hand throughout on the gearbox while driving in long run will cause the gear to slip when you shift up or down. There is a video on youtube that explains very well.

today when i was changing the plate light bulb of my alto lx but suddenly the parking lights,plate lights and the light of speedometer stop working but all the other electrical items like stereo,headlights,central locking is still working only parking lights,plate lights and the light of speedometer stops working please tell me what is the reason and how can i fix this
+Ravi Mehra it looks like a fuse that connects the parking lights, plate lights and speedometer lights has blown off... If you replace the fuse, everything would be fine... Please check the electrical drawing in the user manual to locate the fuse... I haven't worked on an Alto and I don't know the location of the fuse box...

+Ravi Mehra if all fuses are ok, a wire might be cut in the middle... disconnect the battery.
With the help of electrical drawing and a continuity Meter, check the continuity of the wires in parking lights, plate lights and speedometer lights one by one...

+Vinay gupta definitely Volkswagen will not be so cheap to maintain as Maruti. But, don't get scared... If you maintain the car properly, any car will be good. Polo needs to be serviced once in 15000 km unlike Maruti cars which needs to be serviced once in 5000 km.So, Service cost will only be little more than Maruti... But spares of VW are expensive
What about the cost of general service
+Faisal Moothat if Maintained & handled properly, cost of general service is from 8000 to 10000 Ruppees per service. Polo has to be serviced once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first.
If not maintained & handled properly, repair charges are high as VW spare parts are expensive.

+Mahesh Yelve what car do you have? I faced the same problem with my Maruti Swift. The only way I found is parking the car at different places daily. You should clean and inspect the under bonnet more frequently. Also, please take it to the workshop and explain your problem.
