Having only discovered this band about a year ago (courtesy of a dear friend and Swedish Witch) I thank you for posting this! I was reading an article on Ghost on Kerrang, and they linked to this! What a blast it must have been there for this! Awesome! 🤘🏻 I love that the costumes are by necessity hand made and low budget, but the songs are awesome (of course I have Eponymous 😈) and the performance, that opening, the whole thing just worked! It still does!
Old ghost is great but they had to change and be able to put on a more interesting show once they hit the stage where they couldn't be this intimate with fans in small venues like this
I was never so excited for a band to come on as that night, completely in love with the band from Fenriz's band of the week thing, a great day of metal and then Ghost on with full regalia. We were all singing along so loudly and badly. I hope some other Live Evil 1 folk see this. Was such a good weekend but they were the best band in my mind.

"Improved" as a front man I agree with. But the old live shows are so much better. Mysterious. Evil. Now it's just a meme fest.. and none of the band are the originals.. it's a theatrical solo project now that plays some of the songs I love. Impera is also an incredibly poor album. Like this show really happened in the 80's or something.
This is the Ghost I fell in love with...
Death Knell with that lineup, passion and production was a dark masterpiece.
I love this moment. Feels like only a certain few get to carry this through their rock n roll lives.
"THAT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT!'' I love it xD
7:03 - I AM FULLY HONEST, I SCREAMED "ELIZABETH" WITH ALL THIS CROWD TOGETHER RIGHT IN MY ROOM(mom got angry)
RIP
I can't help but feel I'm witnessing the birth of a fucking legend here!!!! Thanks for the upload!!!
@7:35 - a virgin peasant was sacrificed
Vargus Stonerock lmao Holy shit I'm dead
i very literally just spit out my drink
Awwwwwwwweeeeeesome AF! Thanks for posting.
I could bite my own back that I only discovered Ghost in 2017. They are still awsome to this day and of course a million miles more professional than but this was so much more intense.
I must thank you for uploading this, they are my favorite band and to see footage of them at the begining is so cool!
Absolutely stunning footage, thank you for uploading this! Amazing how far they've come from this, throughout all the Papa's till now HAIL SATAIN
Love the guy who went "THat's BLOODY BRILLIANT!!"
This mask looks so much thicker than the newer ones. Super impressed he could get all of that sound out so clearly!
the people who saw this live are so lucky holy shit
I may not look like a Ghost fan but i have to have my Ghost fix every night before bed
You bought the phallos mortuus?
LOL!
Cheryl Sawyer me to every mourning and night
i thought i was the only one
Hell yeah
Absolutely beautiful! My favorite band ever! Thank you so much for this video!💞💞💞💞
It's so fucking awesome to see where they started to were they are now. Like who could of imagined such fame and awesomeness to come from these guys back in 2010. I love this band to death and will forever support them. #Ghostisthebestbandever
i love how everyone in the crowd is just going absolutely apeshit
Papa I is so angry. So angry.
and I love it. ^_^
He was a bitter old man
Nick Hebb I miss that for sure
Give me some slack I was killed off
haha yeah, he took this shit seriously hehe :)
Sooo good! Glad I've seen Papa I, II and I will see the third on Wednesday!
they are all the same guy
No shit.
+Gar Klein no there not tou fucking idiot
I assume you'll be going to see Papa IV when he joins the band 👍🏻
+Satans Hell Hound If I live to that long 😉
18:50 such an amazingly timed zoom on his eyes
Miss Ghost😢
That is bloody brilliant!
16:58 Papa Emeritus was feeling it
Thanks! I didn't think there'd be much hope of a full set of Papa I anywhere. One for posterity!
I love Ghost's progression and how far they've come!!!
That is Bloody Brilliant!!
Thanks for sharing...
21:17 I feel like he is staring into my soul
“YES THAT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT!!” fr bro
I know he'll never revisit ìt but I'd love it if Forge took Ghost back to this sound again. Love how simple and raw Opus Eponymous sounds.
Tobias, Simon and Martin name more iconic trio, I miss them so much
Not prerecorded. Yeah so the key board has some effects or choir in its programming... what are u gonna do- have a fucking choir up there with them? show some respect. This is greatness in its first stages.
back when the Ghouls looked like the hooded demons from the Holy diver music video
God the first incarnation of ghost was so amazing live.
Damn, that outro for Death Knell is amazing.
They have held the end of Death Knell for a really long time on occasion, it starts to break your brain (in a good hypnotic way) after a while :)
2024 and still lovin this 🤘🏼🤘🏼
ghost need to return to this very creepy style of music and stage presence
yes!!!
It was creepy when i saw them like 1 month ago, awesome < 3
I find them more ''majestic'' than creepy nowadays
we'll see what Papa IV and the new Ghouls bring once the 4th albums out later this year
I was reading something that said papa IV is "disgusted" by papa emeritus III and his "rockstar" attitude. And the next Papa will be a throwback to this one and the next album will be super heavy.
Ritual sounds so good in primo's voice.
The low budget and small venue make it even more creepy and scary and like a real underground ritual!
Thank you !!!!!❤for us , Ghost fans ,this is pure gold
Witnessed history right there
Thank you for uploading this!
it’s crazy watching this vs videos of the latest tour with papa IV, Tobias’s performance skills in how he works the stage as well as his vocals have both improved so much
Soo much better ❤
"Improved" as a front man I agree with. But the old live shows are so much better. Mysterious. Evil. Now it's just a meme fest.. and none of the band are the originals.. it's a theatrical solo project now that plays some of the songs I love. Impera is also an incredibly poor album. I used to love every single Ghost song.. off that album there's about 3.5 songs I like
@@Wagoo i guess it just depends on why you started listening to/ watching them. They’ve changed genres quite a bit, i’m a newer fan and I love this era of them, and while i do like the earlier eras a lot they’re not for me as much. So i can definitely see if you started listening to them expecting them to keep the scary persona why you’d be disappointed, but i think it makes them a lot more fun and interesting to see them change so much, it keeps it from feeling stagnant or AS gimmicky
@@Wagoo I like all their music to be honest . There’s some fabulous ones from the first 2 albums and I feel the same about the rest . The music calms me don’t ask me why but it does! And it’s a lot of the older ones that hit the spot . I’m just loving the music and what Tobias is doing .
@@mulberrymothexactly ! Tobias didn’t want to “stand still “ forever singing . I love it all ❤
I was always in London at that time in Camden but I didn’t even THINK to see this! I was always hanging Underworld !!! I’ve seen Ghost twice now but I would have definitely have seen them in London 😩
