Very good power bank for basic needs for 32$ if were me I probably add in 13 extra $ to get anker nano 30w 10k it would be slightly better in every other spec but having a cable separated means you can replace it any time vs built in cable define a good value!
I don't know why, but despite Anker rating their USB A ports at up to 12 watts (with nothing else connected), I can't get more than 7, regardless of power bank, power station, or cable. Appears to be backed up by your results here with your iPad. Seems that we should be seeing at least 10.
I charged my iPhone 14 Plus max from 25 to 100 with usb c and I used 50% of the bank, with a usb A I only used 40%. Is about a 20% more efficient with usb type A. With 20watts and a 20% efficient loss you get 16 usable watts. The time difference was 1:30 vs 2:00. The fact that I can charge my phone 2 times with type usb A is a big factor to me.
It's similar to 4G vs 5G 5G is faster in some areas but uses more power 4G is slower but uses 10-20% less power consumption Same with charging the slower you charge the less that is lost to heat and thus requires less % to charge but may take longer
My man, I was just thinking about this channel, i remember watching your videos back in the day when the first Nvidia Shield just came out, nice to see that you are still releasing videos :)

Hi, I just got a Galaxy S24 and I am looking for a powerbank that would charge it at least 2x time before depleting. Would I need a 20,000 mAh? I am new to this and traveling soon, I am paranoid I will run out of battery during layovers.
so the battery capacity for the standard S24 model is 4000mAh, so actually a 10,000mAh battery pack will do just fine, but definitely recommend the 20,000 in case you need it. Depending on where you’re going you’ll probably run through battery quicker if you’re using the GPS a lot or using more data on the go in general. Happy travels!
It’s not 100% efficient. But if just counting numbers. It can charge 5.8 times. Realistically (if you don’t use your phone) it’ll charge it around 4 times.
Pretty awesome, Josh. Not to mention, rare to find something which hasn't been rated or reviewed. 👍
Hell yeah man. That's why I try to search newest and make a video ASAP. I appreciate the kind words.
I'm still going with the 10,000 mAh 3-in-1 you reviewed last month. That thing is the ultimate portable bank/charger

Ok so i like that much more than the ones with the perm attached cable. Actually Anker should sell the cable lanyard as its own item.
It's just cool to see them trying new things.
