By my interpretation in the last episode of Kenobi he actually discovered a new Force ability, which is basically to binge the light side of the force and be fueled by noble passions rather than selfish ones. He went from 0 to 100, last fight absolutely sucking to becoming more powerful than Vader, 10 years really after having picked up a lightsaber, because of how strongly possessed he was to defend Luke and Leia and the Rebels. Mace Windu learned how to use the dark side by harnessing its emotions while not falling to it, but Obi-Wan Kenobi discovered that there ARE emotions on the light side that can and should be embraced and harnessed in battle, like protecting the innocent, such as children. You can fall prey to these emotions too and be blinded by them, but what he did was let the nobility behind them empower him and basically bring back all his skill. I hope the creators realize basically what it is they made in episode 6 and make what I said canon; this makes Kenobi one of the greatest Jedi ever, basically fusing with the Light Side, and this is surely what Qui-Gon Jinn will teach him as well.
This is why Obi-Wan is my favourite jedi and character. He may be not as powerful in the force as Yoda or not as skilled in sword-fighting as Windu, but he is certainly the most powerful in will. He lost everything, his master, his love, his friends, republic and the order, and of cource his brother, but he would never fall into the path of the dark side. He is the strongest one in the end.
Windu was skilled idk about that Anakin Made him his Bitch in Star Wars episode 3 ROTS game technically was canon as it came a week before the movie but instead of Palpatine killing him it’s Anakin that duels him and completely overpowers and outclasses him by the end he is so tried his attacks gets sloppy and Anakin Punch’s him back stabs him through the chest and kicks him out the window
Obi wan isn't that powerful in th force. Not at all. (Almoat wasn't picked to be a padawan) Its pure determination that brought him here. That brought him to become the greatest jedi.

I think Obi-Wan is one of the greatest, strongest Jedi. Not because he was powerful but because he was a good man. he didn't let hate win. he may have stumbled, faltered, tripped but he never gave in. his love of the force and his will were a constant force to be reckoned with and sometimes he may have gotton lost but he always found his way back to the force and the belief in the light side. A very complex man but he had a good heart and wore that heart on his sleeve for the world to see no matter what.

I love that you included Obi vs Maul/Savage. When push comes to shove, Obi-Wan has always come on top. When he has something, someONE to fight for, he does not fail. I also love it was the thoughts of Leia and Luke that pushed him on fighting Vader, while Qui-Gon showed up only when Obi-Wan surrendered himself entirely to the Force rather than an ideal.
Obi Wan Kenobi is my favorite character ever. He is simply a total inspiration 😍. In fact in my personal life when I feel down I see Obi Wan videos and then I take strength and keep figthing. That's how great he is!

The Star Wars world is incredibly rich and expansive but the best part is the passion of the fans. The fan fiction, fan art & fan tribute videos are utterly amazing & besides the intrinsic awesomeness of the movies, it’s the Star Wars fans that make it such a vibrant community & a huge reason why it’s actually such a powerful piece of our cultural fabric. This is both powerfully inspiring & tragically heartbreaking. It really hits hard when you see all the salient tragic moments in the lives of Obi-Wan, Anakin & all the other characters that make up this universe & saga. Executed to perfection. It chews you up & spits you out because of all the tragic suffering & loss but like a broken Obi-Wan gets a new hope, the viewer gets invigorated knowing the Obi-Wans & Lukes of the world triumph over the darkness even though the odds were stacked against them. More interaction with Qui-Gon, how he survived and resisted the Empire. Maybe it's just my dreams. Oh yeah, also the Clone Wars flashbacks everyone was hoping for, hopefully Season 2 will come and show us something the creators have left for later.

I agree that Qui-Gon should've been more involved and I'd have liked to see a more character-driven story rather than an action adventure but what we got definitely had its moments. I believe Season 2 is rumored to be happening and I hope it's about Obi-Wan learning to become a Force ghost, I think that's the most interesting path they could take.

It may be heresy to say this, but if only someone would be able to replace Sir Alec with Ewan for the original trilogy, and Ewan is special effects aged to re-do the scenes. After going through the entire prequel timeline, I think Ewan is in a much better position to protray the emotions of Obiwan/Ben Kenobi than Sir Alec now. In my heart, Ewan has finally displaced Sir Alec as Obiwan Kenobi. It is permanent.
