The first time you see that mission briefing "Planes everywhere!". The first time you hear that music "OMG epic guitar!" This mission goes beyond the best in Ace Combat, I'd say it's one of the best video game levels ever.
I like the chatter in this game because it starts to mention you by name later in the story, after you've really developed a reputation. Hearing "Oh God it's the grim reaper" from enemies and "Mobius One's here! We're gonna be okay!" from friendlies is an amazing feeling. Sorry for necro.

Unfortunately for them they became the easy prey. “

Yes, I'm aware of that. Real life "dogfights" don't really exist anymore. I was just wondering what would happen if this many modern jets got in such a close range fight.
Downside would be that which ever side holds the territory after the battle has to clean up all the debris and maybe even any jet fuel that managed to not get burned up while it was falling. Nobody wants to set their own territory ablaze on accident.

Well Mobius One isnt a great pilot at this point. When he manages to destroy Stonehenge, he becomes really a legend. Also Mobius One is kinda the only hope for ISAF, so they give him as much help they can. Also it is for gamers to advice them in gameplay and make the chat more interactive
I really suck at this mission. Been stuck on it for 2 weeks and I spend most of it trying to get a plane locked in target without them zooming past me when i fire
+nagachon It's worse that it looks honestly, Sierra Hotel in it's self is 2 words. First Sierra and Second Hotel, Sierra is a mountain range and Hotel is a place to sleep. The part about that is if you done understand Aircraft Slang its lost of people.
Sierra Hotel = NATO phonology for "S" and "H", for example: Alpha "A", Bravo "B", Charlie "C", ... Hotel "H", ... Sierra "S", ... Zulu "Z". "SH" is aviator slang for "Shit's Hot", which pretty much means the situation is chaotic.
Dude, if you have missile lock on a Yellow fighter, engage and take the shot. Although you won't get a kill off of it, it will nevertheless boost your prestige among your squadron mates. And ANOTHER THING: You're getting 'buck fever' way too much with the missiles; I've noticed that with not just this video, but with all of them. You don't always have to fire the millisecond you obtain a missile lock. Take the time to develop a good shooting solution (preferably at the target's 5, 6 and 7 o'clock) which will give the missile ample time to track and hit your selected target. This will allow your missile time to make little to no course corrections to home in on the enemy's aircraft.
hello there , your capture is soo clean did you use an elgato HD 60 . im trying to capture with Avermedia live gamer portable plus on free mode and i cant get good capture quality . im trying to capture ps1 n 2 games with it but its not working as i expected .
So this is on my older video so that means it was recorded on a Hauppauge. My newer ones if they aren't stated to be recorded on an emulator I use an Avermedia UC3. In Recentral general settings are 1080p 30MBps BitrateCBR @60fps.
Also i have noticed that u keep disengaging your enemies and your not taking your time with your shots , take your time and feel your shot instead of just shooting from the hips
You can't kill the yellows in this mission... Even if you hit one with multiple missiles, it just causes the whole group to bug out... Which is of course why I target them as fast as possible when I play that mission.
Came here in hopes to find out what I'm doing wrong, and this guy does exactly the same as I'm doing but his missiles do hit the targets...😅 First real hard mission I've ever encountered in an Ace Combat game.

They have plot armor and were basically unkillable until you reached Mission 12 after destroying Stonehenge

Yeah its Sr-71 Blackbird. It is possible to shoot it down but I find it never worth it.

I would use the SU-37 Berkut or the F-15 Active for this mission so I could go after the SR-71.

Are you talking about the first 4 aircraft that I shoot at? If so I think that's just RNG if you hit all 4. I've seen it happen plenty of times.
I'm talking about the whole mission, I was stuck there, but I finally beat it, not sure how though.
Well you need 800 points and shoot down all the B2 Bombers. Once you do that you wait out the timer.
Yep, the 800 points were my problem, every shot was being dodged, but I got the points real quick somehow after several tries.
