I noticed that when you kill the other Yellows, they fall to the Earth, but when you kill the last Yellow (Yellow 13), it just disintegrates. Falls in line with the narrator, who says that Yellow 13 never returned to Earth.
It might just be random. I think I saw a few yellows just blow up and vanish too. If it happens every time then that's a bit of a bummer because my headcanon was Yellow 13 survived, (ejected or whatever) and simply ran off, hence why "We never found the body." some speculate Mihaly in Ace Combat 7 might be Yellow 13. (Or Cipher, or even that Mihael guy in the fake yellow squadron in Megalith.) Heck there's even a floppy disk or something in the trailer that says something like Tester Mihaly Version 13. Other people suspect him to be Pixy or just plain outright someone new.
Dat air jousting I still think this is the best boss battle in the entire franchise. The buildup for Yellow 13 and Aquila Squadron is excellent, the challenge is definitely there, and you can really feel the ramp up in difficulty when you get to the final Yellow, who I believe is then automatically assigned a more difficult AI to emulate Yellow 13
I just feel like there was something innacurate about that Cobra. It's supposed to make your aircraft stall on purpose, and in that high angle of attack it should be slowing down from drag, thus making that Yellow fighter go to Mobius' 6 o'clock. Unless the F-22 was accelerating at ludicrous speed, it couldn't catch up to the enemy going behing him. Just a theory though.

Amar7605 Actually, the maneuver is quite sound. The reason it didn't work was because Mobius 1 was rapidly decelerating. Had he been going standard speed, the Su-37 would've dropped behind Mobius 1 and slotted onto his six, and begin engaging him. The whole point of the maneuver is to bleed speed and make your opponent go past you, allowing for you to get on their tail (which wouldn't work if the guy you're trying to evade is decelerating). The Cobra can only be pulled off by a few aircraft, the Su-37 and F-22 being two of them.
Amar7605 You have to remember Ace combat is Thousands of miles away from having any sim like qualities. So the cobra isnt gonna be the same as the real cobra

Some aircrafts like you said can do it because of their vector thrusting capabilities, but then when you do get behind him, what are you going to do? The faster you go, the faster your missiles will travel. So if you fire, your missiles at this point, they will fire at a low velocity, which will make them easily evaded. You are flying too slow to try and accelerate and catch up to engage properly from behind. It's just a big bummer when an obvious counter to this move is to simply accelerate to gain space and turn. haha :/
Yellow Squadron was way more menacing than sol squadron ever was. If it wasn't for Mobius 1 weakening Erusea's best forces years before, Trigger never would've stood a chance!
Farbanti looks WAY COOLER in Ace Combat 04 than it ever did in Ace Combat 7. Wish they hadn't changed it. The way the crater near the submerged district is ominously looming just under the water's surface is incredibly memorable and striking.
Personally I think changing it is fine, it's only like 15 years between the games in-universe so seeing that they actually changed the city is a positive thing.
I decided to play a little bit of this game, since haven't done that in about 9 months or something. I found out that I had stoped playing in the middle of an Ace difficulty playthrough and took my chances with this mission. After shooting down the Yellows, it came down to Me vs Yellow 13, what followed was a 4 minute dogfight of me trying to go head-on, then taking some distance, climbing and trying to get a small lead on him, just what I needed. In the end, I was flying extremely close to him (5 through 9 feet at best), trying to gun him down. It was extremely satisfying to finally get my trigger on him long enough to destroy him, an experience more intense than anything Assault Horizon could trown at me. Truly one of the best games I've ever played.
The Holy trinity has this draw to it no matter what. Sure 6 is okay and 7 is amazing but I don't want play those two over and over. When I want to play Ace Combat I turn to 4/5/0.
@@Mobius118 actually was found out with regards to the books I think. Princess Rosa actually isn't erusean but actually Osean. Her family had immigrated to the country of Osea but when the royal family restored to power and there had been a nasty car crash that had taken all the members of the royal family, it was found that her family in Osea was next in the blood line so her father assumed the thrown and she was then put in school in erusea where she made friends with the older girl that was mihalys daughter thus the tie in in AC7. So actually the members of family you see in AC4 actually end up perishing before AC7. So sad but I think its interesting.

AC 4.5 and zero is still fantastic these days... Even with outdated graphics it's still very beautiful visually
