I quite like the Astro Robin. It's probably my most favorite machine. It offers high grip without oversteering like Jody's White cat, has a considerable boost, nice acceleration, isn't too heavy and of course it looks good! Only problem is that the MTS isn't quite the same as Uchiba noted
Your favorite pop star can be found on the track. It's Jack Levin with his nice little Astro Robin! It's another bird named machine and a solid choice to. The car most certainly looks like a bird although the sides are a bit bulky. Blue and yellow are a solid combo. Now, onto racing performance. Acceleration is incredible. Top speed is not but you can't have both. Not even Don Genie gets both. Body is pretty well protected and is well connected to the track. The biggest thing about this one is the boost. It is extremely powerful. Game classifies it as a D?! I don't think so! It's a high B almost an A! Turning is pretty good, but turning is also the worst thing it can do. It loses so much speed while turning dropping down into the 970 kmh range. That is 40 slower than the top speed! Be strategic with your turns and boost and you'll stand a chance. Even in the twisty turny trippy dimension of Phantom Road like me.
may not quick-turn so well, but... I just calibrated my controller and made it _really_ sensitive. Suprisingly doesn't throw me off and just made it even easier to turn, even skipping QT or even L/R buttons sometimes. Also means less speed trouble for the Astro Robin!... It also has a suprisingly good acceleration. Or proabably just average. I've been using the Space Angler a bit too much.
Dang, at the end of Phantom Road, the AI decided not only to cheat with the impossible shift boost as usual, but also decided to smash you into the wall, so much so that you got stuck on it temporarily? That confirms it for me: the AI in this game is definitely one evil son of a b*tch.
I honestly never used Levin in GX. In X, he was a decent combat vehicle, but you also got him in the same tier as Bio-Rex. He looks and handles like Princia's.
1:03:38 "You're going the wrong way!"
*Jack Levin:* "Well it was either that or going off the track!"

The picture quality of this video is pretty great. Was this done on Emulator? I can't seem to get F-Zero GX to work well on Dolphin.

Haha dark schneider at phantom road xD passing you like a baws then is like fuck you imma wreck your machine
I feel like it's a fair tradeoff. If I recall correctly, Astro Robin handles very nicely without any MT moves or QTs.
I love this ship. I understand about the thing about its awful quick turning, but I still love it nonetheless.
haha but otherwise it's great
all my videos are on console.
Madao Joestar I know I'm late
But what happened on Phantom Road: Slim-line Slits?
It's at about 1:03:40
@@CrasherX2000 BS physics. Happens to me a lot. If you get caught, you're practically dead.
The AI cheats like hell
Artizel88 that's GX for ya

How come Captain Falcon never wins a race? I thought he was supposed to be the best
I love the Astro Robin I use it all the time
You are the F zero master!

Jack Levin was my nigga when I play this
Definitely not that fast, but man does the Astro Robin handle so dang good!
What I want to know is why you're always doing unnecessary engine cutting.. It does nothing lol
it does do something. speed loss rate is decreased. have you ever tried it?
