what is it that you didn't like about the first 2?
It looks pretty good, don't know if it's "wrap up an entire trilogy" good though. Also, I see they went with the "slowed down classic pop song for dramatic yet nostalgic effect" thing that all movie trailers seem to be going with now.
@@tangofett4065 I have never been able to tell if a movie is going to be good by a trailer honestly. We shall see.
The banter between Eddie and Venom works for me. It doesn’t have to work for everyone, but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it like I’ve enjoyed the previous ones.
I thought Venom 1 & 2 were just okay. My expectations for 3 were low, but honestly after seeing this trailer I'm more excited for it! Thought it was a great trailer.

Looks like it dovetails immediately after the events of Spiderman No Way Home. If you look at the clothes Eddie is wearing is the same from the events of the Post Credit scene of No Way Home. They also do the same scene but this is the bartender that is about to touch the sliver of Symbiote before Chiwetel's character takes possession of it. The same actor as well with the Bartender. Venom is back in his world also we are seeing MCU actors playing different roles thanks to the Multiverse. Rhys Ifans now is the hippy character in the Venom universe. Looks like the Symbiotes from Planet Klyntar are going to wage a war against Venom, Toxin basically a Civil War between the Symbiotes.

Yeah, I'm with you here, Kristian. Never had much of a desire to watch the first two Venom films and this just looks like more of the same. I'm sure people will have fun with it, though.
the overall tone and that scene at 2:25 which looks like it links to the Spiderman after credits, makes me think that Sony asked Marvel to help them on this one.

i really enjoyed the 1st 2 for just the fun that they were....and after having just gotten back from seeing No Way Home in theaters n rewatching the post-credit scene with them, when are Hardy and Holland gonna meet??? i'm excited for october.

I didn't like 1 and 2 but I might like the third one :) Looks fun.
I'll watch this in theaters. I was never interested in seeing Morbius or Madame Web but I'll check this out. The first two were alright, had some fun moments, even though the one thing I remember from 2nd one is a scream from Carnage in final battle that was way too loud and high pitch for my liking. Lol!

At least they're staying consistent with their tone, im pretty in the middle with these movies.

I'm a HUGE Tom Hardy and Venom (comics/animated shows) fan.
Unfortunately, these Venom movies just haven't been for me. This trailer feels like a continuation of that, and that's okay. I hope the franchise's fanbase enjoys this third installment.
This has a Netflix and chill vibe all over it. If i get bored at least i should get lucky and rewind it. Mindless action vibes all over it

Man these movies have just ruined Venom. People can give marvel crap all they want but at least they have nailed the essence of most of the characters. Venom might have some dark humor in the comics but he's not a stand up comedian
What's worse is that there's an entire wave of fans where to them this is Venom and how it should be. I hope the MCU does something with Venom to wipe this version out of memory but it has a strong following.
Not well versed in the entire Venom comics universe… but to me has always seemed silly and had bonkers dialogue in his earliest appearances like Lethal Protector. Only time he was actually scary to me was I think the second time he ever appeared, when he’s in MJ’s apartment and she thinks its Peter at first. I’ve heard great things about King In Black stuff but haven’t read it yet. Not defending these movies but Venom for me was at his best beating up Spidey as a villian or in the 90s animated series which Sony has failed to create. Would like to check out good storyline recommendations for Eddie Brock Venom if you guys have favs? For Sony films, I’d want to see a serious Agent Venom war type of film next!

I haven't seen any in the theatres and probably won't with this. The first one was entertaining without being groundbreaking. The second was a steaming pile of cow dung. I'll check this out on a streamer eventually.

These movies are silly and fun, and that's exactly what they are trying to sell you on here. More of the same isn't a bad thing, but I have no idea if this will have a major Box Office or not.
Terrance will not be paying for this film. Oh, boy. Sony needs to stop. "What are we gonna do? How are we gonna stop them?" Have you heard of fire and sound? Really?🤣😂

I'll will watch this but I doubt at the theater. The first two were okay and this isn't really pulling at me.
The part in the trailer showing Danny and the piece of symbiote tells us that they don't care at all about continuity and what universe what happened in.
Of course, maybe once we see the trailer it can be explained. But since it's Sony, I doubt it.
But aside from that, trailer looked fine. I did enjoy the first two for what they are.

I watch these movies. I don’t really care about them but I also don’t hate it. All of the Sony non-Spider-Man movies seem like they would fit right in if it were released as a super hero movie in the 90’s/2000’s with the tone they go for.
I just can’t believe they really gave us an entire Venom trilogy where he fights nothing but symbiotes. I was hoping for some other villains that we would never see in a Spider-Man movie like Jack O’Lantern or something.
Loved one, thought 2 was decent and I’m excited for 3 not everything needs to be super serious
I personally like the 1st movie for what it is, thought the 2nd movie was not good but better then Morbius and Madame Web. The one thing that stood out to me was that at least the monsters venom has to fight in this one don’t look exactly like Venom. The fight at the end of the first was messy due to the fact that the monster was just a grey venom so I guess there’s that.

I liked the first two but nothing about this gets me excited. I have no idea how we’ve gotten to a point of having 3 venom films LOL.
I really wish they would have brought Andrew back and done a story with that. But I mean just cause the trailer wasn’t good doesn’t mean the film won’t be good either.

The first one was okay, I can have fun with it. The second was a train wreck, was hoping for it to be darker. This one, I hope does well but I'm not expecting much.

For the algorithm
First one was the best one, but it wasn't great. This isn't how Venom or Eddie Brock is portrayed in the comics. Sony should of went the more gritty route, it's crazy to think Disney will be the first to go and take the risk with Deadpool and Sony sticks with the comedic PG 13 Venom
I mean I think this looks fun. I enjoyed the last few the soundtracks were great with Eminem!

The 1st was OK at best. 2 happened.. I will watch it, eventually. But not in the cinemas.
I’m not saying it’s deliberate that they made this trailer as long as it is and showed as much as they did but as a marketing this is usually not what you want to do… so ya we’ll have to see. The Rhys Ifans connection is the most interesting thing so far given he is a Garfield Spider-Man villain. Maybe Andrew shows up?🤷♂️
Andrew showing up and knowing about it ahead of the time is THE ONLY way to get me to see this movie when it comes out
@@VitaminStudios I mean, if the idea in mind is that this movie ends the venom films, but then also teases a future release of a new amazing Spider-Man movie that could be something left for the movie to show itself then a trailer. Although I don’t know if Sony is even smart enough to think of something like that so who knows.
The first one I liked better on the second watch. The second movie was..ok overall. This one looks like it still might be just...ok lol. Maybe the second trailer might be more interesting.

a little late but I would say the first was ok the second one was pretty worse and this one seems more like first which is a good thing I just see this trilogy as more of a Venom comedy tbh which fine cause I really like my comedy

I liked Venom 1... didnt like 2. They just dont get the tone I think Venom should be, its going way too silly. My guess is Sony sees Spider Man and Miles both making jokes and are like "Jokes are what make these properties hit!". Ill see this cause I have A List... but if i didnt Id wait for streaming.

Ugh. As a lifelong and die hard Spider-Man fan, this franchise just irks me so much. The first wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t good either. And having a character that is OBVIOUSLY a Spider-Man remix, exist in a world that never had Spider-Man, yet looks just like a Spider-Man remix. And we all know they’re just getting big money due to fascination and/or the hope of a Spider-Man connection. Can we imagine if Eddie Brock existed in all the previous Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, and then in the 4th movie became full blown Venom?
They got lucky first venom did $1B + but so many people went assuming Spider-Man was also in it LOL. You can’t have 3 solo venom movies and not have 1 interaction with a Peter Parker. (Licking a screen during end credits doesn’t count)
The first Venom fily did not make 1 billion dollars at the box office.

This movie is going to bomb like Kraven is going to bomb I really don't get it why Sony is ruining characters that involve Spider-man by doing these stupid spinoff movies they don't make any money at all I really do think it's time for both Feige and Iger to get full control and get the rights of Spider-man back. I really don't want Holland to be in this movie at all because it'll be to confusing and this movie doesn't make any sense at all.

Why have Tom holland show up in venom in the credits and venom show up in no way home. Like makes no sense, and the Symbiote getting left behind. So like venom 3 last dance has the finish what was started, or it was all for nothing

The first Venom movie didn't have the same tone as the second one. The first one was more serious and had some comedy where as second and this one lean more into comedy and spectacle.

I honestly thought the first 2 were pretty good. Not the best movies I'd ever seen, but well above average. I can think of MANY comic book moves that were MUCH worse!
The first Venom is a bad movie, but you can get some fun out of it if you just go with it. Second one was nearly unwatchable to me, is was just plain bad, no fun. Not really interested to see this one. It could be better, it doesn't have very big shoes to fill, but I'm just gonna wait untill it gets to streaming.
I am not a fan of venom in a world of just other similar venom like characters….it comes off as a boring CGI mess, but I hope this is different …..Franchise as a whole was bad to me, venom needs to be included into the MCU , he is an excellent character but you need to see him as a SPIDEY villain

1 was meh, 2 was trash, why is there a 3, Venoms voice is annoying, Venom in the Spiderman 90’s cartoon was what I like and this version isn’t doing it for me. They make Venom out to be as if he is an teenager alien, I’ll pass on this one.
