On your last video I agreed on 'yes' for Boyne this week and 'no' on Pine Knob. But I lean toward 'yeah' for PK now. The forecast looks good and I think they only need a couple days to make enough snow to open.
The science of snowmaking makes me horny…. Idk about anyone else but this is a literal passion of mine I want to get onto a snowmaking team next season and get into the business.
Can you tell me when and why snow making seems to stop as the season goes on even though there’s been little natural snow. Seems like there’s opportunity to make more snow later in the season, but the machines are “put away” for the season. My hill is Hyland.
Ya dollars and cents. Everything white left at the end of the season is dollar signs. The goal is to keep the ski area covered without over-covering it and wasting capital. The sad fact is people (other than diehards that don’t bring in much revenue) stop coming out regardless of conditions after mid March.
-staring at the livestream from the hill- SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW
Perfect North shout out!

Always good to see that forecast trending favorably

Plenty of areas always looking for snowmakers!
I am praying snowriver can open this weekend
I think there is a very good chance of that!
@@MidwestSkiers I hope so. That's my home resort, and it would be sick to get on snow this weekend!
Great video
By the way spirit mountain is making snow
👏👏👏

1 foot of real snow on dec 1st is optimal. Lol.
