The video is out of order because the top-down looked so good i didn't want anyone to miss it. 😅 Ps. Anyone score any unnamed gems? I'm already itching for my next score.. 😬
Copper band butterfly fish will possibly eat your aiptasias.. also peppermint shrimps and definitely those Berghia nudibranchs will eat them!! Gotta love Acros!!! Keep the great work! Love the top down view!
Your corals look great except the aiptasia try panacur l used that for the blue polyps took a week for them to disappear! I buy corals from fragbox too! Great service!
Deffinatley under rated maricultured pieces everyone's about name brand these days we bring maricultured colonies the results that come in time with those pieces are amazing
I agree on the no-names - Named pieces are hardier - you know what you are gonna get etc. But no named are cheaper and IF you know the species name then you know how it will grow - plus they are collected for a reason (because they are REALLY colorful) and they should color up. The problem I have here in Europe that every rainbow tenuis is named even though it's clear not a WD or a HW. Tank looks AMAZING ;)
Thanks Sunny. Do you have a good resource for learning species names? I've slowly just picked certain ones up, but often times you see the maricultured colony with no name attached it. That is too bad. I will say up here in Canada, it's sort of similar. I've seen some vendors selling maricultured tenuis colonies 2 to 3 months ago that were somewhat reasonably priced, or else even those colonies are selling for CAD$350 and up. Thanks again!
@@TheReeferYT Yeah - all the names are just too confusing for me. Like if it doesn't have lineage then they should just say rainbow tenuis. There is a guy here who grows in his basement - he has a bunch of tenuis he got from indo - one he said was OP, HW, WD... but he doesn't know which is which and he sells frags for a reasonable price. I think we have to stop buying them if they are not reputable. There was a site here selling Vivids Confetti (which I really love) - but then he started selling Vivids Grafted Confetti - like seriously it just makes me not want to buy from them (he could say Grafted Confetti Style Acro. I like that there are names - like it helps - but if a coral is similar (or maybe the same) they shouldn't give it the same name or a different name but a name that lets us know it's their version or the just the species name with maybe the color. Don't know how to fix it though except by more of us saying something and not buying ;)
I agree with your comments. The prices of corals has sky-rocketed for greed. Then you have hobbyists trying to sell frags for the same price as the stores. Get out of here. You are killing the hobby. Mari cultured may be the only way to get frags for a decent price. Some may die, some not
Totally. Not sure where you're from, but up here in Canada, there are a number of nice named pieces that are priced below CAD$100. They didn't cross my mind when I was recording this video. 😅

Definately looking forward to more Lagoon/nano content when you have time!
When we would bring in mariculture we had issues with dipping them, we’ve had the best luck with Aussie wild acros

Do you own a store Rob? Must be fun to unbox a bunch of them. 😀 We have a limited selection up here in Canada.
Thanks for checking out the video. 🙏

Totally. It's like a box of chocolates. 😅

I've had Mira cultured corals I didn't make it pretty much instantly. But I've had crashes too, so just saying..
you have some pieces with some burn tips / aglae... not good. So fustrating when you have a crash.
Thanks for checking out the video! ❤
Totally frustrated but thankful it wasn't a full crash. It was a bummer to lose so much growth. 😢
The brown could be ”the vinh” if it has blue polyps
Thanks Fred! 🙏 I'll check it out. I think the brown piece has red polyps, although they didn't show up well in the video.
