The Ferry crossing from Algeciras (Spain)🇪🇸 in to Tangier (Morocco)🇲🇦

We catched a ferry from Algeciras to Tangier Med, using FRS ferries. A very scenic journey also senn some dolphins swimming on the side of the ferry. We arrived at Tangier Med port, from there we got a local bus all the way to Tangier centre, it was about an hour journey. We visited the Medina and the kasbah before leaving this city for the blue city of Chefchaouen.

I went on it to Morrocco an back in 92. Had an amazing time over there.
It was nice an calm all the way there an back.

good video, yeh the local bus is only like 7 dirham and the taxi is close to 300 dirham so its a obvious choice really. and the bus drops you right in the city centre by the train station, same as coming back. it was a good bus ride.

Hi, we purchased it in advance online as we wanted to make sure we could catch the early ferry from Algeciras, i am not sure if there are any ticket booth there on site.

Hi, we waited for about 20 minutes at the little bus stop on the main road near the port, it was a small local bus. It did save us a lot of money in taxi.

Thanks again, my wife and I are going up there next year from New Zealand…train and bus around Spain Portugal and then ferry across to Tangier, more trains and buses. 😂 we are in our 70’s and love easy adventuring…videos like yours are a valuable resource for a couple of ancient wanderers. 😂
