I just wanna say how refreshing it is to not just get a tip on how to put something on my crossbow, but also to hear you talk about God and put him into the conversation. If we depend on God, truly depending on him for everything he can and he will be there for us. God is our rock in our salvation and he is our strong tower in times of trouble. I am going to subscribe to your channel just because of the attitude that you have about God and the tricks that you have to help make our crossbows easier and more effective to handle. Many blessings to you.
Nice to hear you got an amped. Last season GOD Blessed me with a 13 point buck and a doe. I was using rage broadheads with mine. I have one left from the 6 I started with. Gonna try buzz cut hornets by magnus so I can reuse them. I took off that handle. I added an ar broom handle. I put black corrugated pipe tape on the stock tube so there is no wobble noise from stock. Strings are cheap. Plan on a replacement at some point. Good Luck.
Wow that is terrific! Seems like you had a great season. I think the buzz cuts are a great choice. Magnus makes a quality product. As soon as the weather breaks I hope to be doing a tuning and arrow selection video about the bow hoping it will be helpful to others. Sounds like you had some great ideas and are getting you crossbow dialed in. Thanks for watching and for sharing as well! God bless and stay safe!
@@thefrugalsportsman My scope was trash. 90 clicks up and 90 clicks left, I was still at se poi. I bought a killer instinct speed dial scope. Its pin point out to 55 yards as I am too chicken to shoot much further. Honestly for me the amped is too powerful. My bow shots are 9 feet to 12 yards. Mechanicals are a one t I me deal hit or miss. I am to cheap for that. Would rather have magnus as I said. Good Luck. I installed a sling mount on the buffer tube behind the pistol grip. You will find holding this bow at the ready gets tiring. Gonna saddle hunt this season.
@@Dutch.1722 My package came with two scopes one is illuminated and that is the one I've mounted on the crossbow. I've heard the scopes are not that good so we will wait until I sight things in and tune the bow to find out. I agree that the bow seems too powerful that is why I plan on shooting old school snuffer broadheads with 125 grain inserts (total 250 grain point). That should slow the bow down some helping to saved the limbs and creating an arrow with incredible momentum for my black bear hunts. Like you said I like to use my broadheads over and over and the fixed blade let me do that as well! I also agree with the close range shots. I don't think crossbows were made to replace a rifle and a lot can go wrong with longer shots, especially on the animals end. They can take a step forward, jump the string and such. There is nothing like getting close to and animal and that shows good woodsmanship, which is a big reason we took up archery hunting in the first place. Keep up the great work and may God bless you and your day!
What a great idea. I will definitely be doing this to my bow. So glad I found your channel. Always love the short sermon at the end. Keep it up brother
Hey thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words! I really appreciate it! Glad too that you found the video and channel helpful! Thanks for watching and sharing your heart! God bless you!
Have you had any issues with your shoulder stock? Mine is loose, so when i use the power draw on it, it pulls the cheekrest down towards the scope. I cant find any videos on it.
I have not had any issues with my stock being loose. I do have a video on installing the Centerpoint AXC crank on the bow. I'm not sure if that would be a help to you, but here is the link: ruclips.net/video/4h7zdZvZpCo/видео.html If your stock is loose and moves when you use the crank something isn't right. It could be a factory issue. I would call Centerpoint for help. Their phone number is 1-866-726-1122. I believe they have a 5 year warrantee on their bows and might send you a new stock. Hope that helps and thanks so much for watching. May God bless!
@@thefrugalsportsman Hey, thank you, Ill check that video out. I did contact centerpoint and was told to take to a certified dealer for servicing and was told by them they only sell them. so I'll contact them again after work, thanks again!
@@thefrugalsportsman Seriously please try the ar broomhandle. Makes it totally easier to carry and walk thru the woods. Weve talked about the amped 415 in the past.. GOD BLESS you too.
Hi Tim! I have a link in the video description listing purchase links as well as componets for the build showing the make and where you can get them. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and God bless!

I took all the play and noise out of stock by shimming it with wide electric tape.
