I have this color with white roof, mirrors, and stripes and I love it. I’ve owned four minis over the last ten years and truly it’s hard not to have a superiority attitude knowing you’re driving something so fun and unique.
not to forget most minis are great on fuel while also retaining the fun factor. I own 2016 Countryman S with 1.6L turbo petrol. They are quite reliable, only issues I have are the prices Mini charges for maintenance. Most of which can be avoided like the oil changes I just take to a normal auto shop and save 60$ on the whole process if you buy your own oil and buy the filter from MINI.
However, do not avoid changing the transmission fluid around 90'000km or 70'000 miles. That is a must, even if Mini tells you not to. You don't want the transmission to fail after 120'000 km and having to pay $10'000 out of your warranty. Mini will charge you about 660$ for a transmission fluid change (CA) which is about $490 (US).
Guys if you are to purchase a Mini, remember to change your transmission fluid at proper intervals. 75'0000 to 90'000 km or 50'000 to 75'000 miles. MINI will tell you not to but that is because they intend for you to drive the car past warranty, and when your transmission fails at 120'000 km or 90'000 miles, you will have to pay 10'000$ out of your warranty to repair.
Fluid change will only cost you 660$ (Canadian) or 490$ (American)
Minis are quite reliable and I should know, mine is nearly 9 years old, haven't had a single issue. Maintain your vehicles people!
