    We take a look inside the 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman at the layout and cabin, the practicality and the boot size
    The new 2019 Mini Countryman is larger than the older model and a better interior finish. Coming in with either a 1.5 turbo petrol in the Mini Cooper Countryman or the faster 2L Turbo charged in the 2019 Mini Cooper S Countryman and the tuned 2019 Mini Cooper JCW Countryman.

    Would you buy a countryman if you wanted a small SUV

      MotorSport & Dream Cars I have the 2018 Cooper D (auto) and love it.

      Brian Nickson they do seem very practice and have that mini feel as well. Some people do get confused by the fact it’s not actually a small car although I challenge someone to fit 5 adults and a large dog the hatch version 😂. Had the PHEV countryman last week (video out this coming Tuesday) and that makes an interesting proposition.

      @@DamoDrives I got the standard petrol model. I do long journeys but hate the sound of diesel engine. Fits me and my whole family in no problems (three adults two kids) and a wheelchair in the boot. But I doubt three large men would be happy in the back. Never the less I actually love the car...

    I have this car and the trunk can put 2 big suitcase, 2 small and 2 soft bags without pulling down the back seats. Very spaceful MINI. I choose the car with chrome outline and LED headlight package so the car looks even more nice!

    Just bought a 2019 mini Cooper s all 4. So far I love it. I traded my Acadia Denali soccer mom car in for it. I didn’t need all the space since my kids barely ride with me. I am enjoying it

    we judge the size of the luggage compartment with the seats in place and not folded down !

      Its important to know both seats up and down but seats up i agree are more important

    I tried performance fuel (shell v power 98 octane) in the countryman and it definitely made a difference. Bit faster, deeper sounding engine and more energy efficient

      I hope so looks an incredible car and the complete opposite in terms of being environmentally friendly from the M850i I reviewed (4.0 turbo v8 vs 1.5 a cylinder mini engine)

    Yes I would! But had a BMW X1 as rental when my Mini was in for repair! Prefer the smaller Minis to drive and park!

    • @DamoDrives
      @DamoDrives  5 лет назад

      Bjornry I cannot compare it to the X1 as I have not driven 1 yet. It does feel a lot bigger than the hatches I have been reviewing recently but I would probably get the PHEV model I reviewed last weekend if I need a large mini. What did you think of the x1

      @@DamoDrives They are nice! 8/10! Had cooper S engine so was not slow! only minus for me the size as drive a normal Mini cooper S 5 door hatch! They good for familys and company car drivers!

    • @DamoDrives
      @DamoDrives  5 лет назад

      The PHEV I had was impressive all round other than being £7k more and certainly had pros and cons (company car tax was very low)

    Drove a 2019 JCW last week auto. Just cant get over owning an auto transmission. Still looking for a manual

      You do get used to an auto but needs some time if you have always had a manual, I prefer a manual mini but they are more chilled In everyday driving

    All that messing around with folding the seats to fit the luggage, just put your luggage in the back seats and you have room in the back for more stuff!!!

      Simple answer is don’t listen then and ask for a refund. Would be good to see some of the presenting you have done so I can learn on how to do it properly
