hi all very good vid i have dont it on official and it took about 30 to 35 ele to tame a 145 just fyi and a tip you can do the same method with the grapple and use the same grapple over an over again just give your self more slack when your on the ground an feed repeat :) have fun stay safe all

I tamed my 1st ferox with element and a net launcher, you can net the in big form each time they transform.
Did you notice that when the Ferox is in beast mode it does not look at your avatar unlike the other creatures?
They do more damage when their addiction is higher, up to 100% more damage.

the main reason i have found for getting the ferox at 100% addiction is for the females it is required to breed them

I personally tamed mine using bloodstalker. I mean bloodstaker was one of my first tames. He is with me everywhere. I found a lv 150 ferox in the snow storms. So lets say spider vision came in handy when keeping track of the ferox.
As for avoiding fighting it i just use spider glide + multijump to stay out of ferox reach, i multijump afterwards ferox if he changes target.
And that basicly it.
19 element took to tame a lvl 150 btw
20 transformations (1 occured without me using element, idk how)
it's random on if they need element to transform like sometimes if u start to walk up to one or vice versa, it just has a chance to change into a big boi
I’m sure this works fine, but I couldn’t find any feroxes in that cave. In fact, I found nothing in that cave. I think it’s the glitch where nothing spawns in a certain location for no reason. I’ve tried dinowiping. It works fine now

@@LeCorrecteurCompulsif that should work, do some ice fishing in the mean time down by the lake. Or teleport out and back in, it worked for me eventually. Good luck
K6A it should work by now. It’s been working for me. Did you just get genesis? If so just wait a day or two. You’ll get them eventually
i was following this step by step without watching the whole video ahead of time. Needless to say i didn't bring grapping hooks...

So i'm guessing Ferox are bugged? If you tame them via seeds, crop, or berries they don't retain their level bonus from taming. Once they transform, they go back to their base level before tame. I tamed three ferox. One via element with no level bonus. Two with berries and there was a level bonus however, after transforming, they dropped back to their base level. It's something they will have to fix later on.
This was filmed on his private server without other players. Try taming in same spot on an official pvp server once cave spot is known then I'll b impressed

sorry to disapoint everyone but after the patch, you need 20 elements to tame one, same for a lvl 5 and a lvl 150. fat rip for the easy tame. another thing you should know, they will not breed if they are not on 100% addiction.
also, sometimes they glitch under the map when they shrink back to their little size. so good luck. it happened to me 2 times and one was almost tamed ... rip 30 min of gameplay, my hexagons and my elements.

@Zev Israel a ferox yeah think its glitched but right now you can just knock them and feed them berries or crops plant y seeds work best
I just shot a non mutated level 140 with two tranq arrows from a Primitive Crossbow and fed it like 10 Mejoberrys and it was mine with full tame efficiency. Probably not intended but hey, easy Ferox.

I play in official server, and I tried to tame a ferox level 145. I had to gave him more than 10 elements and nothing. Help!
For that high of a level in a official it'll take a good 25

I was watching my favorite RUclips Typial gamer play this awesome game and he tried to get a ferox as well with element but the percentage was at 0 even after he fed it like a bunch of elements
has anyone had any issues climbing with the Ferox? half the time I get on a wall with it I glitch out and can't move. I try jumping in every direction but all the Ferox does is just flinch. It can be really hard getting off the wall before I have to wait till stamina runs out.
I love them but I don’t really agree with the tranquilizer part either on how to tame those cuties yet they have such beautiful fur
the easier way to find this cave is to track the mission searching for the fro-zone

Now tame them in Genesis 2. I use a snow owl to look for them, a glow pet to try and find a 150 and take a argentavis in a cryopod. When you find the one you grab it with the argi and take it to the city. Then use the jet pack on the free Tek gear to fly up and down.
Wish you could do videos on every game I play. Most content creators just annoy me...

Taming settings on the server used for this video must be higher than official, I tried to tame several lvl 100's and they took almost 30 elements
Taming settings for normal servers are horrendous

Found the cave but it had an army of polar bears and no ferox lol. It was a trap...
have you tried the tek skiff? it's tractor beam is pretty op, it can pick up some really big critters, such as brachiasaurs. might be the next best way to go about taming???
Also, I figured out how to use most of the stuff on the astrocetus tek armor, which does function as a platform base as well as a group mount with it's own player controlled turrents.
Its a waste to even bother operating a skiff for a ferox.
You can just trap him in a big cage.
I personally didnt. I used bog spider to float above him, and spider vision helped much since it was in the snow storm.
Btw you can make a chamber for taming with giant trap door.
Use the skiff to bring stuff there.
And skiff btw can lift bronto too
Edit: apparently you can bola the morphed ferox.
For his entire transformation duration.
Thats way more easy than any method.
Just theow a bola when his hand hit the ground after the transformation
@@Awesome-ct7vr I wasn't really suggesting catching small dinos with it, i was mostly concerned with big flyers and big dinos that could be hard to tame. You can catch a quetz with it mid flight.

I don't really think it helps to make base location videos for PVP because then you're just telling all the Raiders where to look lol
Apparently they changed a bunch of unbuildable spots to buildable on the PC, and it's all broken down by platform and official) unofficial.
My guess is he'll want to wait until that nonsense gets ironed out.

What do you have your server setting on to allow flying? I'm getting flyer disabled in the pie menu. In a previous video I saw you were flying.
You just need to add this command bForceCanRideFliers=True to your GameUserSettings.ini file. can't be done on console yet, but they said they're looking into making it available.

He's on increased taming settings, you are probably on official (as am I). I'm just about to go out for my own gremlins, you remember how much it took you to tame?

Animus Lupi N7 you need to delete it then reinstall it, you might not even have genesis downloaded. You may need to go into the Add ons for the game when you pull up it’s options.

Not sure how I feel about a furry hulk junkie, but seems an easier tame that the bloodstalkers.
Tried knockout method on the 29th of march and its been patched out so passive element feed is the only method now
So we know that if you feed a mogwai after midnight they turn into a gremlin.
What we didn't know is that if you feed them *CrAcK* after midnight, they turn into a werewolf.
The more you know.

Why would u waste the element on a low lvl rather then a 135+ or are there no difference really wit stats??
what was the mission for the console? you can set a target mission, to give a waypoint to the console

I know why it didn’t let you pick up the Ferox, it’s because you had element in the last slot bar.
I used element and tamed them but they didn't gain any levels. Is that a bug?

i used the ko method on a 140 and used y seeds, it tamed out at 170. Is it supposed to add the extra 72 lvls or is it just random? I tamed a 95 using same method and i believe it added the correct amount of lvls.

You can't use element shard to addict ferrox or tame them dust in lunar is slow and the coin system is slow any better way to get regular element ?
Just do the basketball mission in bog on alpha. This should be like 20k hexaggons which is enough for a decent ferox tame
Btw on the volcano entrance there are red crystal like veins. Best element farm possible.
Better with high% dmg anky
Tip: i use skiff to move anky faster between the element ore veins

There's no ferox spawning in that cave on my server... none at all. No bears even, it's barren. Maybe it's a glitch or something?
Edit: I hate doing edits but I also can't give feroxes element. At all. I can't tame them in the normal method (X_X)

hey Nooblets. get the ferox to 100% and go to the Lunar area. it goes completely Rabid. attacking all the tek creatures and harvesting their element. can only wonder what will happen to all the Ferox that get transferred to Abberation.... Liquid element and all.....
