    Utterly beautiful - as ever! Do you have any striped roses, perchance? I don't recall seeing any but may have missed them..
    I first became smitten with striped roses after seeing a Gallica Versicolor at its peak. An unforgettable sight. I think they add a kind of medieval touch to a garden.

    I have two roses - one call Cream Veranda and the second one is Abraham Darby . The roses are in their third spring . I was wondering what your tips are to get the plants to grow larger . They do have beautiful blooms .

    • @summermoongarden
      @summermoongarden  Год назад +1

      Cream Veranda is supposed to stay on the smaller side and Abraham Darby is a David Austin rose that I tried growing for years and it did not perform well for me. Feeding regularly (every 2 weeks) will help with growth and blooms. I’ve noticed my Kordes roses tend to be more vigorous than David Austin in most cases.

    How do you keep black spot off your roses? I live in Georgia and it's a battle.

    • @summermoongarden
      @summermoongarden  Год назад +1

      The only thing that works is constantly squishing them and spraying off with water! My rose Rx isn’t working at all this year!

      The best remedy I found was spraying Neem oil, but you have to spray again when it rains. Your roses look amazing!

    To help combat the aphids in the long-term, I would recommend planting a variety of plants that appeal to aphid predators.

    I’m in zone 8b, and my rose buds keep getting aphids on them. I’ve been having to spray every few days to keep them at bay. How do you deal with aphids in your garden? It looks absolutely stunning and and beautiful!

    The Paradise may be sold to you incorrectly. Paradise is not shiny. It's foliage starts red and hardens to a matte green. I am wondering if its Barbara Streisand or another similar rose.
