Hey mate thinking of picking one up as there’s a few cheap ones on our market, Trying to stay away from the Ford & Commys.. Quick Question How good is the driver space/Legroom? Are they any comfortable for big & tall people?(6’2) Does it have much room in the rear for a car seat / toddler? Hey man, drivers seat is good, boot is good, but the back seat is reeeally tight. I’m sure you could make it work but it’s definitely not a super practical car. RS4 and C63 have more room. M3 is compact too
Open diff doesn't really make the car better IMO. Get a torsen LSD or even a clutch type and give the rear end minor toe in. Bout 0.1-0.2 degrees. Even if the back end steps out, it wants to correct and get back to center so it won't hang out. Car is so much fun to drive in those cases and can be pushed. These cars have the worst case of scalper syndrome in the world. A 2010 with over 150k miles will go for the price of a brand new car. Its ridiculously absurd considering there isnt a shortage of these.
I 100% agree about your point regarding the C 63. I had similar feelings with my HSV Clubsport - fucking awesome but every corner (especially in the wet) was a death wish hahahaha. I recently opted for a newer Lexus GS350 instead. Still fairly quick, comfier than anything I've driven and heaps of space for the golf clubs... because I have to play golf now, right?
I own the Fuji speedway edition , ya it is a bit hard to get used to I think it puts out quite a bit more power than this isf that’s also why the c63 and other cars are harder to control, it’s a lot more power to the rear wheels, it’s just basic science. This isf does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds which is slow in terms of racing world. The rcf Fuji does it in 3.9 seconds which is still not the fastest but it is significantly different power. The isf is also a lot more balanced on weight I’m sure due to it being a 4 door sedan.
ISF, great new car. Even so over a year ago when you reviewed it, I knew that this would be the car that would replace the Accord. Looking forward to the content ahead.
I just bought an 09 as well in blue and I love the car but the ride is shockingly hard, I thought the shocks were broken at first, hitting a bump feels like getting a brick to the nuts, is yours the same?
Funny you say that - a lot of people are on here complaining about the ride. Personally I think it's fine and mine's lowered. On the open road in particular it's very nice
They're all like that but changed a bit in the FL about 2010, it's perception on whether you think it's shocking or not lol, not ideal if the roads are bad where you are
@@sircefiro Honestly I'm getting used to it, I just was not prepared for a Lexus to be that hardcore. Oh yes! The legendary ISF, excellent choice bruv, I thought you might have gone with a German but this is something different. My dream car is the GSF. Keep it up bro!
Loved your review! After owning C63 AMGs for many years, I got one of the latest ISFs from BringATrailer. I love it, fantastic car, comfortable, smooth, feels tailored for the experience. It does feel a bit quiet stock though, looking into exhaust options and doesn't seem like there's a lot available in current times. Thanks for your feedback on this car!
Honestly, i was going to unsub after watching you let go of the cl9. But oh boy, i sure am staying. As a matter of fact i‘m even looking into buying a Lexus myself now. Very much looking forward to future videos!
i used to own an Accord...from 2018 - 2020...the car that replaced that was the 2006 Mark X 300G..with 250bhp plus...i never looked back at the Accord ever since...even though i've moved on from the Mark X which has similar DNA as these Lexus's, i never forgot what an amazing car it was
They are a fair compromise between sport and luxury, the brother has one and my only gripe is that the interior has the same design language as a Hino truck; vertical plastic panels with buttons on them. Smooth smooth drivers though, completely different ball game to the Accord but as they say, sometimes change is as good as a holiday.
Great car. I have a black one with 225k km runs like a dream. Seems like Lexus stopped trying after they made this and the LFA. 15 years later and their is500 is slower than the isf was in 2008. Same happened with the is350, quality went down and so did the performance🙈
In fairness, you can't compare the ISF with the IS500. The 500 is not a true F product. And I don't know that it is slower... makes 60hp more for starters
Yip mate I'm with you for sure. I purchased a 2011 ISF and I love it as well. I is the best car I have owned. Only 55,000Ks it cost me in the low $50,000s plus thanks to the witch reg was $3200.00 anyway that does not matter a shit, I love it and will keep it until I croke, then maybe my wife will have a few bob!
I hope your ISF is better than the IS250 that I have been driving for the last 3 years - Toyota dumbing down the electronic systems to the lowest common denominator drivers. Good luck with your journey but I think your Accord Euro videos were so popular because the car is plentiful and is not regarded as a high performance car but you were able to improve it so much with relatively few and affordable mods. However the IFS is rarer and already goes very well so I am not sure you will have the same outcomes. Good luck though.
Thanks man, and yeah I'm well aware the ISF is more of a rare car that I won't be modifying like my Accord. Hence why next week there's a second edition to the channel!
Wow, congratz, ever since i saw your review of the ISF, i kept thinking someday this guy is gonna pull the trigger and buy one. is that a NZ new one? So hard to find, even harder for facelift model
Altough you dont have your honda accord anymore, where did you get the catback exaughst. Is there any way I can get a cutback (small muffler) for a cheaper price because I want my car to be loud but on a budget.

@@KiwiCarLife Thanks!! I freaking love this thing… I’ve gone on so many ‘milk runs’, only to return with no milk. 😂😈
Doesn’t beat the euro unfortunately man. Cool car tho.
Fair enough
Listen to that noise - peep - such a noise - peep peep peep
isnt that just great - peep peep
so fun!
I've learned to tune the shift beep out
I had a 2012 ISF and it still to this day is the best car I’ve ever had better than the 335is, 435i, and e46 330ci ZHP
Yeah they're great cars
why listen to the N/A V8 when you can listen to random toilet music 😔
Will take that feedback on for future episodes
finally than some accord u been comparing everything to
Lol
"What more could a man want." Eh, maybe some inventory? These cars are gone in the states. If you want one with 100,000+ hard driven miles, a bargain. That said, in that car's class, for wet roads, you should be looking at a Jaguar F Type AWD. Thanks.
Not really sure what you mean. Inventory? Gone? F Type?
@@KiwiCarLife I searched for that Lexus, and all there are for sale are super hard used. Thanks
@@BrisLS1 I see yeah the ones in nz are a mixed bag too. My one is in good shape though
good f content, nice! this car drives like automitve bliss
edit: idk how the f u put your foot to the floor in that corner, that would of sent my rcf in to that tree, things an animal lol great choice bro couldn't be better
Thanks man and yeah that was the point I was making. Very controllable
Oh yes! The legendary ISF, excellent choice bruv, I thought you might have gone with a German but this is something different. My dream car is the GSF. Keep it up bro!
Thanks man and yeah GSF is awesome
Loved your review! After owning C63 AMGs for many years, I got one of the latest ISFs from BringATrailer. I love it, fantastic car, comfortable, smooth, feels tailored for the experience. It does feel a bit quiet stock though, looking into exhaust options and doesn't seem like there's a lot available in current times. Thanks for your feedback on this car!
Very nice!
You should do a review of non turbo zt Caldina from 2002-2006 in the sport trim. Amazing car goes well it'd surprise you
Already done the turbo one. Was good
Honestly, i was going to unsub after watching you let go of the cl9. But oh boy, i sure am staying. As a matter of fact i‘m even looking into buying a Lexus myself now.
Very much looking forward to future videos!
Thanks man!
I clicked on this video accidentally, and I'm glad I stayed 😂
fantastic production quality, amazing car, and engaging review. really good stuff 👍
Thanks man! Good to hear
I love this gay music disturbing everything
Fair comment actually coz the maker of the music striked my video after it went live
Transmission in lower rpm is really bad.
Yes now you mention, having owned that car for a year that was one of the big frustrations with it
i used to own an Accord...from 2018 - 2020...the car that replaced that was the 2006 Mark X 300G..with 250bhp plus...i never looked back at the Accord ever since...even though i've moved on from the Mark X which has similar DNA as these Lexus's, i never forgot what an amazing car it was
Yeah nice man
@@KiwiCarLife Thanks...May I ask how much you got this Lexus because I am considering one after watching your video
Awesome upgrade bro, its so cool
Thanks man!
Yeah they drive great
Not surprised. You know value when you see it.
Indeed
Needs a manual. Then it would be perfect
I'm happy with the auto
If you love it now, try one with HKS coils, 275/255 tyre combo and a light tune.
This one is already lowered and on 235/265 tyres
@@KiwiCarLife definitely look at the 275/255 combo when you’re up for new tyres. Go the P4S or AD08Rs, will make a massive improvement.
Sshhh bro! You've spoiled the secret, now the prices are going to go up.
Haha hopefully not... Prices are actually coming down in nz
Good choice there mate one of my dream cars
Lovely vehicles
I have to same exact car and colour, only difference is mine is LHD..
Nice!
@@KiwiCarLife Definitely the most fun and fastest car I've ever owned.
Awesome man!
I'm 6'8 can I fit in driver's seat
Ooh might be a push. I'm 6'0 and can fit comfortably but it's still a relatively small sedan. Would have to go try one to decide
Just got a Lexus is 350 on my birthday (march) I love it & I will get an isf or is 500 in the future for sure !!
Nice! Would recommend
Love the sound of a V8
Yuuuurs
Wow, congratz, ever since i saw your review of the ISF, i kept thinking someday this guy is gonna pull the trigger and buy one. is that a NZ new one? So hard to find, even harder for facelift model
Haha yeah I've been thinking about one for a good long while! And nah mine's a pre-facelift jdm import. The most common type haha
LS500 is my daily driver and have on order a 2023 LC500 Convertible due to arrive May or June. In love already.
Awesome!
Would have loved a two door coupe version...
That's the RCF haha
Altough you dont have your honda accord anymore, where did you get the catback exaughst. Is there any way I can get a cutback (small muffler) for a cheaper price because I want my car to be loud but on a budget.
If you want it to be loud just lob the muffler off
Why tf did they put an open diff in it that's weird
Tbh it doesn't really need an lsd. It's much more important in a low HP car. It'll still absolutely send it sideways with ease
I went to a car meet yesterday and only one guy there knew what an ISF was and no one else looked twice at it. They are great cars but if you want attention then they definitely won't get it for you 😂
Yeah I don't care for attention. My friends know what it is
