I have an excellent ear and she is by far the most outstanding singer in the entire world. Her pitch is perfect and I bet if it was analyzed it would be amazingly accurate. Another thing about her I've noticed, she never strains. So many women can hit high notes but their neck and face are riddled with blood vessels about to burst. Her gift is natural. What a voice.

Good quality video. Sissel is great, great voice, great stage presence and great looks as well. Sad that there are so little viewers. I found her on RUclips, never heard of her before. Happens with more very good performers. Few days ago came across the group Affinity, their version 'O Holy Night', best I ever heard. Very little plays on their videos but check them out - their great. I like it that there is so much content of Sissel on RUclips, I can listen to her for hours.
Remarkable how she tests her voice throughout a concert, song after song, genre by genre. It must be challenging to keep the standard consistently good. Also, it is seen in this concert how emotional a singer she is: single tears escape her control occasionally.

She has been to America several times, has sung with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, been on "Good morning America", has sung with the great tenors Carrera and Placido Domingo in Vienna, sang on the global TV broadcasting in 1989, sang at the opening of the Olympic Games at Lillehammer sang in the movie "Titanic", and so on. She has performed together with Placido Domingo, Carreras, Sedaka, Josh Groban and many, many others. She sang part of the music to the film Titanic. Unluckily she forgot some of the lyrics of the American anthem during a performance and then she was denied having the main role. Celine Dion got it.
Sissel, you are my favourite and I appreciate every song, but "Lilla vackra Anna" is an exception. This song has traditionally a very sad touch not happy at all and the writer would not have expected you to twist it like you do this time.
i was raised on classical music and operas. i often did not like the drama of opera. she makes it sound great. like the next comment i also have a good ear. if it is a fraction off i can hear it like a car horn blowing. i am learning norweigen a little and am noticing it is a bit like german. i am going to get a norweigen for dummies book. i just wish i could go to norway. i have discovered a really lot of new music
