DJ just might be the ideal reaction YTer. Never goes overboard describing stuff in an effort to farm content from the video, pulls our attention in with how attentive he's being, has great jokes and times them well and shows he's not just around for a buck and is invested in the lore as much as we are.
"And then he pulls out THE DRUGS!" Just as Blue pulls out the speed pots. He called it so good! XD and it wasn't the only time either.
AND on top of that, he has GREAT standalone content which proves he's a great content producer all in his own right.

It’s insane how good friends the stick figures are, but they get so dangerously violent in a competitive setting. The last time I saw any of them go this hard was in the lush caves episode when orange and red were actually pissed at each other.
man, DJ's "Your victories mean nothing" was so on point. I love his commentary so much
I just wanna say, the choreography where all stick figure do something in one screen is my favorite part of Alan's animation. Thankfully it's youtube, so I can watch all over again to see what each of them are doing. Impossible to focus on all of them
Thats also why his "cave spider roller coster" animation is one of most watched one😌
I carefully analyzed this in a video editing software, and I can confirm. It is a 3 way tie for 2nd place.
The first place spot goes to Orange, who gets there just about 1/32nd of a second before everyone else. You can actually sort of tell even in 0.25 times speed but its very difficult.
From what I see in 0.25 speed it's look like red came first then the other 3 tie the 2 spot
@@REYHANSaputra-pd9ox Oh wow, there are two different clips that seem to be animated differently.
In the initial clip, the animation shows all of them behind the line, and in the next frame they are all equally past it. Though, in the initial of those two frames red is closer to the line. From this we can infer red wins.
Though in the other clip (when it goes back to do a "slow-mo"), its more smooth, and we get a clear set of frames showing us what happened. This time, it's clear that they are trying to make it a perfect 4 way tie, though due to the fact that orange is not a perfect circle, orange again gets there about 1 frame before everyone else, which I believe is 1/32nd of a second, but it might be something else cause the frame rate changes slightly through out the video, to make it seem faster or slower.

I love how much more individual they feel, now that they each have their own personal preferences, along with the tools and knowledge to go with it. yellow having the command-staff as an extension of being a redstone wizard, blue being all about the potions, red doing clever stuff with animals. green being a master of the fishing rod (and of music, which would not have been helpful here). I suspect we will see Second Coming develop more of a specialty as season 4 goes on...
one question though: how did they get to the nether? pretty sure one does not simply fall into the nether after all... (don't nether portals need to be vertical?)
I'm pretty sure that the cave they just happen to be in is so large and so deep that it somehow penetrated into the nether layer. Kinda like how with Terraria, you'll find the hell layer after digging very below.
Or Yellow could have just customized that section to look like nether

I didn't realize in my first viewing, but DJ is right. Red is the one who kept coming up with subtle ways to get a slight speed advantage, or knew when to change tactics. GG Red!

I just wonder what the new plot is for this season or if it’s just random goofy videos of them doing random stuff kind of like season 1, what I would really love for this season is that they find out about Minecraft’s old spin off game, Minecraft: Story mode. Where the stick figures meet mobs or characters like the magma golems or Romeo the admin, or maybe even radar
I think King Orange would win by manifesting a trophy for himself and then destroying the entire racetrack site with everything in it. I certainly would after being 10 seconds in and getting left behind

Alan is too soft. Choosing who wins is like choosing a favorite child. In AvA that would be orange, but in AvM its usually purple or sumin
But tbf I feel like the "everyone wins" trope is getting a little overused. It's easy to just say everyone wins, but it's more rewarding to really examine each contender and decide which one would realistically have an advantage.
Literally everyone won in this one tho, its not like one of those situations where the winner shares his trophy and says everyones a winner, therefore nobodys happy with the result

This video reminds me of how Minecraft became popular even to this day. Even being part of the animation was real fun because one had to use what was in the person’s arsenal of items.

Alan should make a commercial for his plushies! His 3D animation is nearly seem less in his paper crane video, he even used his skills in AVA4 to line up his fingers in the phone scene. He could even have his daughter appear?
Plot:
Girl is playing with the toys and gets called to lunch.
Second Coming comes alive first, of course, checks the cost is clear, and then gets the others.
They mess around in the room for a bit before hearing Girl return and go limp.
She enters followed by Dad, Alan, who asks how she likes the plushies.
Plot twist, turns out Alan has a nanny cam so he and the sticks can watch the plushies while he gives up questioning why everything he creates comes to life.
No faces of course since, in the AVA universe you haven't shown your face.
Before anyone "corrects" me. "Feel Better Actual Short" _in universe_ face reveal, heck it's even the "thumbnail." Also IRL he's shown his face numerous times on his channel.

well that was fast, also TSC probably could of just ran the entire race he is show to be able to keep up to the carts on foot twice throughout the vid. also extra thing i think TSC is subconsciously using his powers in this race he not only flys with rockets like he has an elytra without on he also as i stated runs as fast as the carts twice

TECHNICALLY, if you go frame by frame at the ending line, the first frame that they all start passing the line (into the black and white wool), TSC (Orange) is the furthest in, pixel wise by a whole minecraft pixel, meaning that, theres a possibility that the camera simply didnt catch the frame that he passed first
Of course, love the animation as is, with the result, just some casual nerding out

Okay but for real this episode was the best thing I’ve seen all day and I really want a stickman plush
3:56 one thing is the commands in the block. Although it does make sense, i sometimes notice that some things are made up
(like i the raid episode, while yellow and the villager are going to the ravagers's cave, the pillagers shoot them with arrows and yellow creates a shield. You can't quite do that, at least not with the "attribute" command, which is the one yellow used, but it still makes some sense)

This episode is so incredible! I love all the lil details as they're doing all the little tricks they do to show off who they are!
Man, i want a sequel to this, that is an all biomes race! But what i think would be fun, if we had the characters for it, would be all biomes relay race. Each stick figure is given a team of sorts. In each biome there is never more than one stick on screen. The issue with this idea is... what are the teams? Here's the ideas I've got
Red would just grab his team from monster school. This sets the tone of 4 character teams.
Blue has the three muskteers plus, maybe the chef.
Maybe orange will draw up a team but i don't know if that's fair
I got nothing for green or yellow...
But i think the event should be set up by king and/or purple. So they can't be on anyone's team.

I agree with everyone's reaction to everyone getting a trophy, it just removes the whole purpose of a trophy. Like the point of an award is something you get for doing something different but if everyone gets one, nobody did anything different. Like a participation award, just stupid. Oh yeah, also great animations.
One more note: My home boy, or girl red won, Let's go! I looked through the part where they reach the finish line at the slowest speed while also constantly pausing, and resuming as fast as possible, Red barely won from what I saw.
I believe all the main stick figures are male as Alan and DJ have referred to them as he multiple times. Unless Alan changes his mind on their genders, I’d say it’s safe to call them boys.
