What stood out for me is the realisation that truly, We are spiritual beings having a mortal experience. And because of that, everything matters because it truly impacts us one way or the other. “Everything in life matters”❤. Thank you for the wise counsel the discussion offered.
Great conversation. I think for Christians, even if they are of different faith, the easiest option to do before marriage is to seek God's say about the person. He's so loving that he will speak. And when he speaks, let's be obedient to follow his voice. Let's no be like a sister who Pr. KAGWIISA talked about. It pains to marry a wrong person. Thank you for serving the world
Pastor kagwisa's eloquence&elocution 🤔.. top notch! I'm glued to every statement. He is an immense BLESSING!!! 'Reality check' ✔️ indeed checks reality. Thank you Rachel & Dr.Evas
This has been a very insightful show! I love the emphasis on eternity - wonderful perspective. I love the balance and warning about "missionary dating". 😊
Thank you all for the insights. I totally agree with everything you have said. Let me share with my friend who has been compromising about this issue. May God continue to use you my dears. I am eagerly waiting for the next part of Children. Thank you
I had a boyfriend who really treated me so well and I told him from the very beginning that we won’t have a chance but he said let’s give it time.3years down the road,he started showing interest in marriage and he was like,it would be the better option if I reverted to Christianity and I strongly opposed it and then he was like ok we will let the children choose to either be Muslims or Protestants.i stood firm on my word and I eventually let him go
Don't Unequally yoke with a non believer(1 Corinthian 6:14) meaning we are of different beliefs and morals it can't work out the proper way it should go.Indeed dad I am blessed. Thanks Dr Evans and madam Rachel
I am in a interfaith marriage and I have others around me who are in successful interfaith marriages. It all about respect and letting the children choose. Many of the children end up choosing to be actively involved in both parent's faith. It would be good to have a guest on the show who is in an interfaith marriage. I've seen people in Christian marriages argue over nuanced things such as baptism where one spouse's family believed in infant baptism and the other only believed in adult baptism so marrying another Christian isn't a guaranteed agreement on religious matters either.
True, it’s not a guarantee. I feel that there are many unseen variables in interfaith marriages. Yes it’s possible to be successful but I imagine it’s better to start when you both believe the same things..
It also depends on how religious the parties are. Most successful interfaith marriages I have seen that worked are between persons who are not deeply vested or defined by their faiths. Even among the same religions , beliefs differ. So similarity is advised along same nuances in the religion. A person who feels their child would be eternally doomed if they don't join them in their faith would be grieved if the child follows their spouses faith In fact ,I have often seen in such marriages, one person( often the woman) joins the man's faith for peace sake.
Does unequally yoked apply to a partner's family? Like, the guy is Christian, the lady is also a new convert but her family is moslem, the guys family refuses marriage preparations on the grounds that the other family is moslem and they cannot be unequally Yorked with them. So if the man and lady are Christian but one of their families is not Christian, is that being unequally Yorked ?

That was wise, it would have created strife eventually.
