This M140 already had PU-bushes in subframe and front strut brace as you had driven it a year ago. The main (driving dynamic) change to this current condition is basically the change to KW V3 suspension and millway camber plates. -> as it’s only set up to -1,5 camber (compared to to -1,1 without camber plates) the camber gain is probably not the game changer. It’s most likely the Kw V3 suspension (changed from adaptive with lowering springs) which really made you feel “the car changed completely”
M Arms are great upgrade when running stock 225mm front tyres. But when having the m arms you do not need the camber plates aymore, or the other way around
@@ZaydEdits It is an informed opinion as those changes are applied to my own vehicle that is used daily. Yellow poly bushes increased NVH over stock of course but not excessive in anyway. B6 adaptive Bilstein dampers help as well.
Add wider wheels (245 all around on 8“ or 8,5“) and a diff. In most regards even better than an M2. Only the obvious practicality vs looks should determine your decision.
@@MDrivesgood 245 tyres (Goodyear Asymmetric6 etc) with an LSD are really doing a good job, even with stage1 map. 245/35 18 or 235/40 square is the way to go on these M140 (Goodyear Asymmetric6 etc)
@@MDrives ok thanks. -1,5 is almost like stock. Stock is ca -0,9 Stock and lowered is ca -1,1 You can tell your friend that also -2 is fine for daily use, that is what you get by installing the M3 F8x arms on F2x cars. -> tyre wear is fine with -2 -2 is a good compromise of daily and sport / light track use. If you do more track events i‘d put -2,5 on front
@@tepes141 before I drove this modified one I really didn’t think it can get that close to it. But driving them back to back they are close. It will never be the same but, it’s not far off.
@@tepes141 It’s interesting, I’m an owner of a modified m140i - to an even greater extent than the one in this video. I went and test drove an M2 yesterday and felt that it was completely different, it’s leagues ahead in almost every aspect. I now understand that no matter how much you mod an m140 it can never be a M car.
Another great video. Can confirm this is a very impressive M140i. It's a great platform with tonnes of potential
Definitely. Comes down to how much you are prepared to spend.

Thanks for all the technical info. That’s very useful! 👋
These additions will make it even better: LSD, poly engine mount inserts, poly transmission mounts, ///M lower control arms & tension struts.
LSD definitely. When it comes to poly busing, I think sometimes it might be too much if the car is also a daily.
Completely uninformed opinion, plus these additions would only take it up a few notches and that’s compared to a standard m2.

@@vollcare4076 thanks for the feedback 💪

I think something like 265 at the back would be more suitable to deal with the torque.
Completely uninformed opinion. If you think 8.5j makes up for a completely different dynamic setup you need to go study engineering.
@@ZaydEdits adding more rubber would definitely help with traction.

That is very impressive! How did the insurance company sting you? Or if they didn't, please tell me who it is!
It not my car but all mods are insured and as far as I know it wasn’t too high considering today’s prices.
Hello friend 😊❤️
👋
How much front camber does this have, about -2 degree ?
Hi. Not that aggressive at the moment. -1.5 as it’s setup for a road and the owner is planning to go more aggressive when he takes it to a track day.

Was that cyclist shouting at 4:12? 😂
Yeh they did shouted something, sounded like wank* r
Haha I’m not sure what he shouted but probably that! 😂
Yes he definitely wasn’t impressed with the exhaust.
Sounds like the wheel spinning upset him 😅 hey we can't all be petrolhead, I'd have been cheering you on 👏🏻

Not watching video just come here to answer question…no it won’t
Why do you say so? You haven’t tried both back to back?
