@@nofishinmydiet 8 years on, and i am, too. Then again, Lazarus makes me cry damn near every time I hear it. Seeing these folks tearing up over it immediately got me.
The audible gasp from Catherine when she realizes what she’s watching sends chills up and down my spine every single time I watch this video, and I’ve watched this video about 100 times now.
I watched this video when it was first uploaded 8 years ago. I still come back to watch it on occasion. I’ve only heard a few of David bowie’s songs, but he was undeniably an icon.
I was very lucky and forever blessed that I got to see him live twice given I'm 60 ..once when I was 16 and 44 ...both highlights of my life ..he was as mind blowingly talented as you can imagine him to be ,plus all the other musicians who made up his band where incredible.
Everyone who was on this planet while David Bowie was here, and who appreciated his art, makes up a universal brotherhood. Anyone who appreciates the art of David Bowie doesn't want conflict with anyone. In fact, it emanates affection, wisdom and love.
it’s actually very amazing that i’m still mourning him. i was only twelve when he passed away but i knew who he was. i’m nineteen now, and somewhere along the way i returned to his music, mostly due to me developing some severe mental health issues - basically i needed an escape, and david bowie gave me one - like he did to so many people forty or fifty years ago. he was an unbelievable, amazing force in this world & i will never forget him, ever. ♥️
thank you, I enjoyed that so much. he was the soundtrack to my life. he show me the way through the courage to be his true self and to create art from my soul. i'll never be able to replace what I lost when he died, but I will ALWAYS have the music he left me.
Hit me in the feels with this one, I've been a Bowie fan since I was old enough to appreciate music.... It hurt to hear he had passed on. Thank you Fine Brothers.
+Roluth D Honestly I think the amount of dislikes on this video is rude to TheFineBros, the Elders and most of all to David Bowie. This video is about a musical legend, his road to death and there are people crying because they have lost someone who was important to them for a long time in their life. And people are disliking the video because of some copyright claim TheFineBros made a month ago. It's outrageous.
RIP Bowie you were my hero and a true musician. "The stars look very different today" indeed. RIP you legend among legends and let your music never die. ;n;
Just started a journey through his discography, from Ziggy's, a few before and then chronologically, when I get to and finish Blackstar I'll mourn so hard and cry, such a legend.
bowie has been such a great inspiration for me and i have looked up to him since i was a very young child. i am thankful for my cool as hell parents for introducing me to him and so much more great people at a young age so i was able to grow up listening to them and getting excited when they play on the radio and so on. i seriously miss him more than anything. bowie, wherever you are right now, i hope you're doing well
Wonderful reaction video. I really hope people don't just dislike this because it's the "trendy" thing to do, because that would be a doing a very big disservice to the memory of this amazing artist. Thanks for continuing to upload such content in the face of adversity, guys. :-)
